help help my gear box there leaking oil how can anyone help mi i am still runnig in jus 4 days only

u got check if the gear oil bolt is tightly shut?..since its just 4days old, u shld contact mah motors and scold them

If the leak is from the drain screw, just tighten it, but if the leak is from the gasket/case, it may be cracked. Anyway, go back to Mah and get them to do it, don't ride with leaking gearbox, you're going to damage the final drive and belt.

I am currently using that too bro..no issue la bro..i been using it for the last 5000km..lol..

Bro,u more unlucky than me cos only 4 days gear oil leak..i after 4 mths,2 days ago noticed my gear oil leaking too...tomoro sending again bike to Mah.Went just now but they found nothing after opening everything said maybe overflow,they reduce oil quantity clean everything for me to monitor further but reached home saw leaking again..not from drain plug and definately from casing joint..U better send they rectify a soon to be common problem..Dear Maxsym owners,do check your gearbox case to see any leakage found... It's likely gasket leak, need to replace the whole piece of gasket, if still under warranty, get them to change, if out of warranty, too bad, have to spend money to get it replaced, don't delay, final drive cannot run without/not enough oil, it is taxing on the belt also.

So here is the tabulation on the gesr oil price for our maxsym:

 

1) Redline 75w140 - $20.50

2) Motul 75w140 - $48

3) German brand 80W140 - $58

4) Liquimoly 75w140 - $78

 

So as a typical singaporean, i buy the cheapest one :-) lol

I fix mine with hid too but 5000k ones

If u want to buy hid, u can try at jalan besar area..i bought mine fr $95 buy must diy la...

The best thing is that our bike uses projector headlamp so the hid beam is focus to the ground and nit to other rider or driver face:-)

So its not glaring at all

maybe the bike is still very very new thats why they dont have spare parts ready in stock. Maybe we can feedback to Mah to keep some vital parts like gaskets, oil seal...also the belting..

how do we do feedback to Mah? anyone know how?

True,e bike new but ironically spoke to one of e mechanic that i sent my bike to my bike shop and my bike shop ask me to send to Mah cos still under warranty.The mechanic told me,correct other bike shop dont have e parts thats why better come here but still e same they themselve also no spare..

I'm considering a Class 2A Maxi Scoot and have finally read through all 28 pages *whew*. Glad to hear some comments etkach3 as an ex-SWing user myself.

 

Let me ask a weird question, while crusing I like to put my legs up at an angle of more then 90deg. Pushing my SWing's back rest to the back allowed me to do so. Can this be done with the MaxSym, btw I'm 1.8m.
