I recently just switched from using agip 10w40 to maxima 10w40 and also changed from ngk iridium to Denso iridium.

Indeed it felt more rough compared to using agip. However, not sure whether It's because of the spark plug or engine oil. I actually felt that the bike is more responsive.

Still feels rough compared to agip but feels more responsive. There's a "tight" feeling when playing with the throttle. Tried cruising at 130km around 80% throttle, vibrations quite a lot but don't feel that the engine is stressed so can go higher I think probably 140km should be also ok.

I dont think ours have a reserve tank.. If it does it should have a fuel cork on it..

I notice mine when it reaches "E" i got about 20+km to go..

Sym Brothers...

I am organising a free and easy trip to Kumpung Penyabong about 20km after Mersing town.

hehe am visiting one of their simple resort to get contacts so that i can plan an overnighter there next time.

it will be a whole day trip...in a sentence...

we will go from 2nd tuas, have breakie around gelah Patah Town, then from there we hit mersing..

around mersing we will get lunch, then reach penyabong for a while, have kopi and some fried bananas and fishcakes (its a very rustic Malay fishing town, bring cameras!) then, should expect late afternoon heading back via route 50 toward Ayer Hitam exit to North South Highway.

then we head back toward tuas, but before that we could stop by kulai or bukit indah for dinner 1st...

phew....long sentence...

Stay tune to the new thread i am writing soon, will probably be up today...

as usual, those interested, add your name and contact on the list.

Hope to see you guys!

so.....?

Have you heard of the problem(s) of Kymco Xciting 300/500? or have u owned sym scoot before?

If you have not heard of it before den you should find out before you give this kind of remarks bro..don anyhow post comments here!

also Kymco 700i you just heard of it? Its been around for like 5years bro now den u realise? only 4ppl using it in Sg till today!

and so what develope BMW engine?

SYM also developed Honda Civic & Hyundai i30, GETZ, SantaFe, Sonata Engine which is by far the most effective and efficient engine in the market!

Ask your friend who drive honda civic..what do they have to say on the engine reliablity & preformance.

FYI (Taken From SYM Website):

"SYM formed a joint venture with Honda Motor Japan in 1962 to manufacture 50cc, 150cc and 160cc motorcycles and became the first motorcycle manufacturing company in Taiwan with 30% localized production"

"SYM in 1967 entered a Technical Collaboration Agreement with Honda Motor Japan to produce automobiles engines for Honda"

Enuf Said! pffttt BMW engine..its a long way to go for kymco bro:sian::dozed:

haiya u ar..its all depend on individual la..

you cant afford den u dont change, u got money den u change...no need to say much mahhh...

same like if u got alot of money den u buy bmw scoot, u got money and u want to maximise it, den u get sym (save your money)

After all we tested maxym and its capable to reach 160km/hr, some youtuber tried 170km/hr...

which i think its more than best for singapore roads :thumb:

Hi @DeZewL

I found a perfect solution for the rear holes cover:

Its a real cabron twill, glossy and i think its by far the most suitable material :)
