Shadow 750

Hi, wanted to get a shadow 750, and thus visit some shops ard..

 

Realise there's slight difference of shadow750 between shops.. Outlook and pricing..

 

Was thinking could it b jap-made and continental-made?

Anyone can give ans to y different?

 

If really ther r two different make by honda, which is better?

From what I know the older version is running on chain and the newer version is running on shaft.

 

Maybe the rider of shadow 750 can update u on which is better.

hi wheelz, sorry i can't provide much help to you, but i find your topic quite interesting so decided to barge in. Anyway, since you mentioned you had already visited some shops, why didn't you straight away asked the sales person on the differences?

Hi, actually both models are 2006 model..

 

Both are shaft-driven, main outlook difference are 1 with emblem(Spirit of the phoenix) on tank while the other don't.. And 1look sleeker then the other..

I think one is the Shadow Aero, the other one is the Shadow Spirit. The Aero is like the Classic and the Spirit is the Custom equivalent. I have seen the Shadow Spirit on Motorcycle Cruiser website and magazines. Glad that it made it here.

If I am not mistaken, Shadow Spirit is similar with Shadow Slasher. The difference is the engine where Spirit is 750cc and Slasher is 400cc.

Sorry to bash your dreams seeing a Shadow Spirit on our local shore. Both motorbike as seen by wheelz22 bearing different emblem should be Shadow Aero. Since year 2005, Honda Japan has embarked on the move of new emblem for Shadow Ace 400 and Shadow Aero 750. Interested people could get a good look of the physical motorbike at Mah Pte Ltd and information of the new emblem is available at Honda Japan website too.

so are u saying that there are no relatively young / new shadow ace 750 in singapore???

Was at Universal Motors to enquire. They are selling Shadow400 $12,000 and Shadow750 $13,800. Both on the road price but without Insurance.

Yep. All Shadow Ace 750 available in Singapore are used but, you could relatively get a brand new Shadow Aero 750 2006/2007 at Mah Pte Ltd.

I'm a relatively new rider to the shadow and despite riding for a few years (overall) already, I still see myself not knowing enough about my bike.

 

But anyway.. I ride the Shadow Aero 750. Its a good ride (if you're the patient kind especially so if you ride a sports bike before)

 

I got mine at Universal. Service, well.. not fantastic but they get the job done. I think they have last one there or something.. heard they got in 10 only.

 

But those are 2004 models. I think Mah has the newer models.

 

I stand corrected though.
