I am trying to find more information about this auto tune add-on for PCV but not much discussion has been done here locally.

Can anyone share what do you think of this add-on and if it is worth the trouble?

Thank you.

Just to share my experience with using the Autotune since there isn't much information here.

Background information: I have my bike installed with PCV and dyne tune with a custom map.

I wasn't satisfied with just PCV, and thought of installing a auto tune with it. But there just isn't much information around in the internet or they are just not very clear. In the end, I take the plunge and get the auto tune.

So the following are things which you need to do after getting the auto tune:

1) Fixing the lamba (O2 sensor) can be quite challenging, as the size doesn't fit normal exhaust OEM bung. So welding needed - around $75 for the workmanship

2) Fixing up the wires, if you want gear by gear tuning, then you need to connect to your speed sensor of your bike. Got to read your manual for the correct wire to tap

3) After connecting to the speed sensor wire, you would need to calibrate the speed and gears (only for gear by gear tuning)

4) Calibration would need to do at dyno center or using a paddock stand (I did it on paddock stand)

5) Now the tricky part, you need to know what to put the target AFR (air-fuel ratio) inside the tables

6) I use the AFR supply by dynojet, they look the same but generally optimized for performance and fuel enconomical

So, hows the verdict? I feel that the custom map is good enough, but with the auto tune, you will have the control to try out different settings and see which one suits you best. And best of all, you can map it gear by gear, and more of a real-time environment condition tuning.

Life is good.
