Im really interested on that handle bar conversion, but the price on the other hand is putting me off... Or can just get those customize cap or somthing

I was thinking about it too... The handle bar conversion there are a few ways to do. Cheapest way is get the 5" Rox risers + renthal or any other bars. I tried before, cables all ok. No need to change...

 

Sw Motech have the conversion kit.. Not cheap too.

The bike is sort of different from the old model so I dunno if we can help much... Only the pro-arm and V4 is the same...

Honestly and sincerely, Wei Jie came to me as a nice guy. He reminds of my previous bike seller, Dili Trading. He was direct, open and honest. Even my friend that came along with me mentioned that he rarely met a salesperson like Wei Jie. Friendly and can talk things over. Initially, I was reserved because of some bad reviews I read about Speedway online. Crossing my fingers.

 

I cannot wait for my bike. ETA 1st week of March.

Are they giving you also the rack for the top box? Not cheap that part. Easily $200+. Box wise Givi having promotion now till 18th Feb for the Tracker Outback. Go their FB page for details. I had already ordered the box and waiting for delivery. It's a pre-order promotion. Item will arrive in March.

 

All motors shop initial part is ok. It's only when you are late or want to trade in or you have made the final payment then might have issues.

 

But if you are happy... That's all matters. Enjoy the V4...

I guess is Loois not giving so much freebies... Mr Lim has changed a lot these few years... Also owner might be staying west side so more convenient for him.

 

The Xrunner is a solid bike... Came back from Cambodia and Laos last month...

Thanks for your concerns and opinions. Of course, there are so many school of thoughts and angles of view. I do appreciate and respect all of them.

 

Couple of my colleagues, buddies and my younger brother, they bought their recent bikes from Speedway. They do get good offer. So, I trust their recommendations. I lazy lah bah to go around from one shop to shop. I just want simple and easy transaction. If the offer on the table not good, I walk away. Just happen so, the offer was quite good. I just took it. If the things didn't go the way I expected, I only got myself to blame. I must see this deal through because, I can't wait to ride it.

 

kifakw>>> Looi's, I did asked about Crosstourer not Crossrunner. OTR with full accessories - $39000. Similar deal at Speedway - $35000. I took it that it will be cheaper at Speedway. My insurance is 1st Party from NTUC. After NCD rebate, est at $775.00. If liberty will be around $550.00. I was advised by Wei Jie, 1st year go for 1st party then subsequent go for 2nd party. What are your thoughts ?

 

I just discovered that couple of bike owners received their bikes quite late last year. I am bracing myself if it will happen to me.

Yes Bro. My friend said the same thing. All bike shops are good. Only when you pay late or want to trade, all the funny stuff will come out.

 

Anyway, I am excited because this is my first time buying a brand new bike. My past bikes are pre-owned.

I got the 58L silver trekker outback. It's 30% off retail price. Black will be more expensive. Close or far it's how you mount the base plate. The Nc mounting is far maybe due to the fuel tank is at the pillion seat so you need space for it to open... See pic for the box that I used to have. I don't think is far...
