idling keeps fluctuating usally mean out of tune, I dont think air filter contribute to it. If air filter dirty u will find the bike rev heavier.

I think u need tuning and a air filter change as well.

K&N is good, your bike's respone better...

thong pipe only gives you loud sound, the power doesn't increase much... get a yoshi... the bike respone a lot better, especially from 80kmh to 160kmh, accelerate really quick.... but legal one not much sound, ard +-90db only...

Ya cos ur idling still fluctuating, air filter need to change every year so K&N cost about $65 can be reuse but stock filter cost $35-40 so do ur math which is cheaper in times to come? I dump stock filter for K&N for better power u wan I sell u as it use for only 3 months.

K&N air filter is not made of "paper" material like the stock one... it can be clean and reuse with the same effect! It also gives better air flow, more efficient combustion and thus better performance ba...

I feel that after changing the air filter, its good to go for tuning and wash carb (usually done together) so that the system will be tuned up properly to fit the new setting. Hrd that changing the jetting will also help! stock jet with k&n like not much diff leh... I'm still quite new to all these... hope to get some views form the experienced bikers... :cheer:
