i ridin vtec.... juz installed k&n last mth... worth the money...

like wat the others said, more power and more responsive.... seems like my mileage increased too....

Can either use the K&N filter washing kit or use detergent or petrol... the cleaning kit is abt $20 plus and can use abt 3-4 times i suppose.. if not.. motor diam got provide cleaning service with K&N cleaning solution.. 1 time wash is abt $10-$15..

 

So up to personnel preference lor..

The grade of K&N filter and original filter i not so sure as this is all up to manufacture gimmicks.. but 1 thing for sure is K&N filter is worth the money lor... $60 1 filter can wash up to 4 times but original filter cant wash and cost $40 each. U calculate the cost and u know liao... moreover K&N filter really give more power.. Last time when i was riding Suzuki 750.. The before and after K&N filter diff is there..

no need to wash b4 tuning..... juz ask ur mech to tune the air fuel mixture will do

read from the KnN filter manual, it says tat wash the filter every 10,000miles. So roughly estimate is abt more than tat figures in terms of kilometer lor.
