12R definately not for shorties. But the seat cushion is nice and thick which you may cut. 10R alredy got a plank for a seat so not much of an option there.

 

RE lowering suspension, you risk upsetting the composure of the bike. Not recommended.

 

ZZR600 and ZZR1100 both very low......

 

For newer machine, the CBR600F / FS also low (relatively).

 

sports bike designers are more concerned with ground clearance and so generally don't give a donkey's about seat hight.

i think u better test ride if u got the chance unless u buying new.

 

dun rush to buy cos u urgently need a bike.

 

decide what kind of bike u like and narrow down the few possible models that u like and try to choose a bike that is most suitable for you in terms of cost, looks, colour, power, handling, comfort and etc

Please create this group: "The Ninja Clan" for the members who is riding the ninjas to join in.

 

I will also start the "ZX10R Technicial Issue" in very short time, please support this thread as the moderator needs to see the traffic flow before putting into sticky status. Please try to input some issue that the 10r has face, so we can share the problems & solutions together.

For the ZX10R members, pls try to pm me your contact so we can organise some outing together with the 12R.

 

We need more Ninjas :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

 

Note: For the last few outing, the turnout rate was poor. Please try to support our outing! :sweat:

so ard back at home b4 11pm..

as in distance, RnR kiosk,each rider gotta bring wat shared tool.. etc..

i will pass u a list of all the petrol kisok

cfm upon my voltage regulator is here..

sori for cun state the date to go..

u can get the lowering links if u can 't tiptoe.

 

but again it will change the dimension of u r 10r like guieness said.

Hi Alex31, appreciate you efforts towards the Ninja riders. Would love to join on the outings especially if it is a weekend day ride.

Can't contribute much technically, but I've rode my ZX10 twice to Thailand (Hatyai and Phuket).

Looking at further rides(Chiang Mai, Mae Hon Song?) next year.

Fyi, I & joe29 went to Kulai last night with a ST11. We were travelling ard 200km/h & that was our first trip with the new bike. One thing for sure we need a DB. :mad: Both of us were shaking like sh*t cos we wore openface.

 

Lookslike you are more adventure than us. I look forward meeting up with you!
