1. Yes, its illegal

2. No, it doesnt melt the headlight reflector as its runs cooler than halogen

3. Even though its illegal, if you feel having abit more light will amplify your road presence to other motorist. Go for it. Dont go for 8000k and above. Some car comes stock with 4300k and 5000k HID.

If u r using a halogen lamp n using hid, pls dun ever be behind me. Its a hazard just waiting to happen. It will be very glaring. Y not mod it to use projector lamp first then use hid as projector lamp has cut off screen.

erm im getting a h4 12v 55/65w bulb from xenon and it has save voltage as my stock bulb. is legal right? onemotoring say as long as nv exceed stock voltage, is legal.
