hi anyone know how many chain link for super 4 15/44 stock setup? 108? 106?

Intending to change original sprocket n did x-ring soon...prices varies from $220 to $230 for the shops tat I asked so far...anyone noes anywhere cheaper for the set tat I mentioned?

an African rear sprocket will eliminate the tark tark sound

Smaller front sproc or bigger rear sprocket results in better acceleration but lousy top end.

( Good for urban/city riding )

 

Bigger front sproc or smaller rear sproc results in better top end but slower acceleration.

( Good for touring or long journey trips, good for daily expressway users )

( This setup saves fuel as engine will not be that stress compared to urban setup when travelling on expressway)

depends what kind of chain you bought. there is o ring chain and x ring chain. x ring chain is better and long lasting but more expensive

What is the recommended sizing for bigger front/smaller rear?

Not adviceable to change the size for front sprocket as it will greatly alter and increase the speedo error thus making your speedo inaccurate.

 

Can play around with rear sprocket, view above post #3 for a rough guide depending on your road travelling condition.

I normally use the chain oil spray can and lubricate the DID ring throughly every 2 - 3 weeks. I would jack up the rear wheel to make my job easier.

To me hodaka spocket better den original..most spocket can last ard 1year plus to 2years..see hw hard u ride too:)
