yups ..agreed.

the civvies on TP bikes are from Security Command .. they usually escort the ministers' or VVIPs' cars .. they have the powers of a police officers but their main duty and priority is the security coverage of the VVIPs.

the civvies in QX may be Investigating Officers, or police officers on plainclothes duties , from divisions or even traffic police ..

personal experience: if they dun haf solid proof, they wont summon u. so dun try  :D

a friend of mine recieved a loveletter from TP about a parking offense for her car on xmas eve. only 2 people have the keys to the car, my fren and her husband, and they were both at home during the time of the offense stated, but its hard to prove that the car was at home.

so if she asks the TP to produce evidence (which they should not have since the car wasn't at the scene), she has the right to do so correct?

honestly it sounds like suicide to me.:help:

and off duty TP on his own or civvie vehicles can also issue a summons. just go to any NPP or back to his Div , lodge a traffic offence report .. dat's it.

bro .. not to say to ask them for evidence ..

but you may want to write in an appeal stating that both the owners of the car is at home during that point of time and u suspect that someone else might having the same registration plate number of the car. sounds far fetched .. but it happened before.

agree with u. this does happen but very seldom.

for bikes is common.

TP register plate are solely for Traffic Police same as MID, ROV, SJ, SPF, SEP,and so on maybe the one you saw is a malaysian register plate.
