Hallo Raidon,

Even though you are gunning 106km/h still there is a 7% speedoerror. So you should be fine....As for the flash, once activated it will be prominent to you.. so consider yourself lucky.... Ride Safe Bro!

The statement needs to be corrected or else I cannot sleep soundly at night. Not all Motorbike have 7% speedo error. Some more and some less. Usually, stock Class 2 bikes have lesser speedo errors and stock Class 2B bike. If there is a change in the drive system, a correction to the speedo needs to be made (mentally or electronically). One way to know one speed is maybe to use a GPS to sync the bike's speed with the GPS. Although not as accurate as the Speed Cam (why I say speed cam because its that cam that catches you and not GPS), it will do. GPS here means a dedicated GPS devices like garmin as phone GPS are not that accurate when it comes to speed.

I do have 7% speedo error when riding my 400cc bike. Then I change the front sprocket to +1 teeth and it seems to make it to 2% speedo error. Now riding a 750cc that comes with a 4% speedo error. You can actually check on TP website, EDDIES, to see if there are any pending summons. If no summons, count yourself lucky and let this be a lesson. That spot is a hot spot.

Thanks all for the clarification, just curious only. Was wondering how does all these camera works. 7% speedo error means? Whatever i see in my speedo is not accurate?

You try to pair you speed with GPS....the GPS and the speedometer should not match. If it matches, that means your speedometer got 0% error.

there's 2 parts when it comes to speed

1) Your speedo meter will have some difference in accordance to your actual speed, varies across diff bikes/models and the mods u make. A fact for certain, analogue meters will have roughly 5-10km/h higher than ur actual speed.

2) Speed cams give about 5-10km/h allowance in accordance to the speed limit.

change from % to km/h

Accident can happen anytime, anywhere.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?

Speed cams' flashes are not obvious, unlike red light cameras which will make you the star of the show for one second..

frankly, some cams r dummy. they don't have enough cost to mount all the cams, so those not hot area are rotated. so sometimes they have, sometimes they dont.

but just assume all the cams are real when you're on the road, to be safe.
