I haven't get the UOL cert so i dunno anything. haha. UOL cert do put 'external' wording. Why not you make a trip to SIM and ask the consultants there. They will provide a better picture to you rather than asking us.

While External students get specially designed programmes of study, they all achieve exactly the same internationally recognised qualification as those who attended the University itself.

This was told by one of the lecturers himself about the word 'external'. The word 'external' actually is supposed to be just a way for the university themself to differentiate between all their students, whether in UK or overseas. By right there is suppose to be no difference in terms of the standard of the degree, the 'external' word is just for reference for the university thats all.

Aiya. But when prospective employers see, what will their reaction be like? that is the major concern here..

will they see an "external" student as one who enjoys the comfy life of s'pore while taking his degree and a "non-external" as a hardworking student who has to pia while being away from his country?

so far, i doubt the school has given a reassurance to us yet..

hmm.. wonder what i'll see on the paper when i drop by to collect it this coming april.. 9 months after exams then graduation day.. wtf.. so long. freaking slow administration.. :sian:

and relc's stupid letter says "collect ur cert by 31 jan, on weekdays onli, 9-12.30pm and 2-5pm" .. ppl no need to work one ah? going to have to waste halfday leave liao.. nb.
