Dun think so. Correct mi if i am wrong, the volt meter is not directly attached to ur batt mahz unless you purposely install it tt way. So only when your bike is on den the voltmeter will start its reading otherwise it is an open circuit. Btw, i am not a electrical engineer student, i study accounting. So from a accountant's point of view, installing a voltmeter, you can monitor your batt. So you can prevent situation where you can't start the bike due to low batt and spend addition cost for towing. It is still rational for you to install. Haha. I oso dunno wat am i saying.

almost there la...simple simple one.

 

IF u route the voltmeter cables directly to the batt, then yes, it will makan battery even while off. but if u add another switch OR tap into the wire system like the headlight system, then it will only work when switched on.

 

i'm not selling le lar...juz promoting for my bike shop lor. dunno if got ani more stock anot... i got one on my phantom though...been thru rain and shine, still working very well. consists of 3 LEDs green yellow red. u can guess the rest. hehe...

 

anyway, if u guys got any technical qns, i mAaaaaybe can help abit bah...caz i learn here there from the bike shop mech. hehe... dun ask me busa la, i sure blur one. haha...EFI is too complicated for me!

Nvm, now i am waiting for some careless driver or rider to try to squeeze pass my bike and hit my side mirror. Den my windshield will crack coz it is attached to my mirror and he will haf to pay for a new bubble windshield. Haha. *cunning*

Got back my bike. Very malu. Ended up spark plug burnt, that's why i can't electric start or even kickstart. No crank sound is becos i keep pressing the start button until battery drained. What a noobshit.

good goood , i used to ride runner, sometimes kick the kick start until wan to kick the bike. oh ya , if u see the ignition light starting to dim, better dun crank liao.
