i think use water-based lubricant better. oil-based lubricants are very hard to dry up and might cause corrosion to the paddings.

i bought my lever sponge @ lab for $1 only.. hahas.. wif other items oso la..

 

btw how i do it:

 

1) get a small container

2) mix water + soap and throw the sponge in to soak till it get expand

3) squeeze into the lever and apply soap on the lever.. den push..

4) keep pushing until it gets in loh

5) rinse wif alot water to remove the soap if not rainy day gets v.soapy or ur hand wet u press also v.soapy..

tis sponge jus put water on it will expand liao.. plain water can liao

use soaped water... maybe u can put it in when washing ur bike...

i got 1 pair for free n it damm small . . . i cant slip it in n i tot it for a normal bicycle . . . so i tear it up -_-

 

shld haf slip in wit soap
