I really am contemplating to get this bike or not. Everytime i see the bike on road i will chase after it to get a good glimpse. The community seems great also..

But one major concern that is holding me back is where to go for your servicing and periodic maintenance because i understand that there no real agents that bring in the parts in Singapore. Going to JB Kawa seems like a too much of a hassle. Where do you guys normally go for your servicing?

Thanks in advance!

Me too having the same concern. A friend of mine riding SX introduced me and having a little research done on the bike, it seems to fit the ideal bike to have for my current situation. Servicing is a major concern, unlike Honda having a HQ at Ubi. Where does Kawa users go to?

I'm thinking of getting this bike too .. theres a place in JB u can get it serviced with original parts ... notsure where but u can ask around ...

Most parts are available in Singapore as well. Just abit of expensive. Theres a few places in JB as well for parts but prices are abit quite similar.

Since not much have been said about this bike. Here's my input:

1) I have been riding this bike for 8 mths now and loving every second of it.

2) Fuel consumption (Conservative riding- 18-19 km/l on expressway. Aggressive riding- 17 km/l ) I'm riding a 2011 model so no riding modes. I can get up to 340-350 km on full tank

3) Great posture. Legs are in a relaxed position.

4) Engine does not heat up as easily as other class 2 bikes and I have no complaints about the heat. Even in slow moving traffic the heat is bearable. (I am using Toyota coolant)

5) Parts only be found in Evershine in Singapore. There are quite a lot of Kawa dealer in Malaysia. (As far as I know) Engine Oil, spark plug, battery and other expendables no problems with finding replacements.

6) Top speed about 260-270km/h

7) Engine is very smooth. Bike is very nimble. I use it to ride from Tampines to Tuas everyday and have no problems lane splitting. Great power band.

8) The only downside is the availability of parts so have to maintain the bike to prevent major problems.

9) Basically its a bike that meets all my day to day and touring needs and like I said earlier.. loving the bike

Btw it would be great if we can keep this thread alive again =)

If parts can only be bought from agent n have to travel all the way to know to service, what is the point of getting this model?
