Newbie to motorbike/cycle/scooter, some question

Hi, I am totally new to this part of this world.

 

How much would it be to buy a decent vintage looking scooter and the initial and maintenance cost for it over 5 years considering I only bring it out for a spin on weekends and I don't have a private parking lot. So it will be in the neighbourhood parking lot.

 

btw, are sidecar motorbikes/cycles allowed in singapore? Not gonna use it for racing or anything, just a magnet.

Its best you get a bike licence first. Do take note that the handling of a bike with a sidecar is different than that of just a bike on its own. I think you would need an additional permit or something for a sidecar. Best if you enquire with the authorities.

Im sure if anyone here ever owns a vintage scooter like that, they will reply. But there is none here. So how to answer your question? Why dont u go get ur license first..

TS my advise is go ahead n get ur dream bike.. Get e side car if u wish to.. No license ? No prob, still can own e bike juz dat u cant ride it b4 u get ur license.. So meantime u can rebuilt/polish e bike to showroom condition.. Best is to park it in ur bedroom so u will b motivated to get ur license quickly when u see e bike daily
