Heard of Shadow Shader 400cc?

Hi Night! And all riders out there!

Need your help to identify this bike. Anyone heard or own a Honda Shadow "Shader" 400 cc?

I have checked LTA registration and the model stated is "NV400DCYJ". Year of manufacture is 2000.

I seen the bike today and it looked the same like the Shadow Slasher. Hope someone can help. Thank you!

It is a Honda Slasher. The model should be NV400DCY. Probably, the additional "J" was due to a typo error and this include the word "Shader" which, you may have probably seen it on the side tank?

if the bike u see is in yahoo auction, then yes it is shadow slasher.

Thank you for the info! Took it to the bikeshop near my office today. The bikeshop owner confirmed that it is a Shadow Slasher. Same as the Shadow ACE but with shorter body lenght and slightly small fuel tank and also the double exhausts. Engine wise the same but will be easier on the pick up and fuel due to the lighter weight of bike.

Boxsurat, yes that is the same bike in the Yahoo Auction. Nice bike with quite abit to work on according to the bikeshop owner.

Anyway, I brought it. The previous owner was a very nice rider and gentleman.

 

Can anyone Slasher owner advise will the front fender "throw" back water to the rider's foot or shoe when the road is wet? It nice but abit short, I think. Thank you guys !

Congratulation on your new ride! Perhaps you could try to PM Intruder more about Shadow Slasher since he is riding one.

Most cruisers will wet your shoes & your pants bottom up due to the forward positioning of your leg. The splashing of water frm the front tyre causes it.

 

Some riders in the States install these onto their highway bars to cover their trousers bottom.

Hi sgstarrider, thks bro. If it is a universal problem for cruiser, I think I will have to live with it.

Very excited about what I am to do to it (mod I mean), it is very original now. Thinking of changing the F&R fenders to the Shadow ACE type. Wonder how it look? Anyone have done it?

Also anyone got lobang to get those chrome wheel cover that cover all the spokes for both the wheels?

maybe you should start to look for those harley pipes which you can install in your slasher

Just legal safe mod will be nice. Any suggestion?

Wonder will the Shadow accessaries fit my Slasher? Radiator chrome cover, fenders, fork crome cover etc.. ya, also anyone knows where come find them ?

congratulation for your bike. accessories for slasher it seems hard to find. you can try to buy from ebay though. but in US they call it spirit instead of slasher.

Hi Guys, this deal with the Shadow Slasher do not go through. The owner is a very nice biker, anyone keen can always give him a call. If you need his Hp, just PM me.

Anyway, I have settled for a FU XXXX Shadow American Classic. Pretty good condition, one owner only.
