anyway, i got those opinions from the dealership. that was his reason for abs bikes not being popular over here. if anyone noticed, it's the continental bike companies which started putting ABS into their bikes because of the use in Europe (where it snows).

The japanese manufacturers started doing it as well to get a larger share of the pie in the european/ american market.

dude..

japan experiences snow too.

mods done:

powerplant device, fuel injector venturis,

underseat cylindrical air filter, bassy stock cans,

super-sensitive in-built gyroscope, inertia-based accelerometer,

streamlined panniers (zero drag),

taped up wires, exposed grounding wires,

TBC mounted, custom tire pressures.

Fact 3 : ABS stops a bike much better than fairings and engine casings.

I like this fact...It is real funny and true! :cheeky:

Seriously, in everyday commute, I feel ABS is a good option to have. On the track that will be one option that I want it to be discarded as early as possible. But it is always good to sharpen your braking skills than to solely rely on ABS to stop your bike in emergency.

It is better to keep quiet and remain a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubts...

Well, when its dry on the track, its quite impossible to lock the front even with street tyres. The bike would flip before it looses traction.

The main problem I faced was brake fade after afew laps, and the rear ABS kicking in non-stop whenever I touch the rear brake.

well everything got their pros and cons.. however i dont think anyone would like bikes with ABS when it comes to track.
