just want to know.. is the maintanance & fuel consumption cheaper then spec1..? cuz thats what the bike shop told me.. i was skeptical till i check the reviews.. but so far none has compare these two bikes.. that was one of the reason why i decided to change.. so, is it just sweet talk or proven..?

2008-Current : Kawasaki Kr150 (Share with my brother) SCRAPPED

2010-2011 : Yamaha Spark T135 (Taken over by my neighbour)

2011-Current : Honda Super4 Spec1 (My project bike)

Surprisingly, all these bikes still have my name in the insurance. No money to upgrade anymore.

Why go to workshop when DIY is easy..?

not sure how much it cost for spec 1...

my first 2 servicing cost me about $80+(with workmanship for installation of other things, change oil filter) and $60+ (no oil filter change)...

both times using Motul 3000 Plus 10W40 oil...

I have this problem, After rain my bike can't start. Have to switch on and off a few times than it can start. Anyone having the same problem?

I reflected this problem to BS. Their reply was intake manifold very near the ground thus moisture and cold air makes the bike hard to start. It's up to you to believe or not.

They checked on battery condition and charging, all normal.

hi guys, wanna enquire bout the nc700x, have u guys go touring with this bike? can it cruise ard 160 constant? how bout 2 person up touring? will the engine feel stress?

Personally I don't think it is comfortable. the front starts to feel unstable at >130kmh. I can tahan ard 130-140. 160 I cannot do for long. Then again I am constantly worried about speed trap....I am using Honda touring screen and barkbuster handguards BTW. Riding 1 up.

yup maintenance and FC is a win for the NC... that is if you go service for both bikes of a 4k mileage interval... cox NC eo uses 3.4L and 2 spark plugs... if your dare to follow the manual, than its a 12k interval for servicing the NC...

the only time i went far with NC was when i'm still using stock screen, i was running constantly about 160... feels a little unstable thou... after i chg to touring screen 140 feel unstable liao

Taller screen, more resistance, more drag..... thus less fuel efficiency. Less wind blast for rider la, but actually also still kanna smack here and there by wind turbulence every now and then

Actualy te wind turbulence feel more stronger with taller screen compare with the stock screen..... Im using GIVI

for me riding with pillion and 3 boxes still steady at 130km/h...

once hit 140km/h will feel slightly unstable but still managable...

i am using stock windshield with add on puig wind deflector...

just nice for me...

wind hitting just at the top of my helmet...

planning to follow the manual and service about 10k-12k interval after my first 3 service...

I will go with or beyond the maintenance schedule when using good fully syn oil.

I think manufacturer usually based their schedule using the lowest quality recommended motor oil. In case really lousy oil (within the recommended standard) is being used by cheapo rider, the bike won't breakdown. Protects themselves against claims. Basically all my bikes, oil change at 10K to 15K but oil filter every change instead of alternate. it is all in your head, don't waste money.

so far normal riding in sgp my fc is still the same as my stock screen, but might foresee a obvious drop at higher speed
