well-said!! in spore, everything is increasing like COE, petrol, GST and etc.

no point buying a bike that is inefficiency in fuel and have great power in road as speeding will easily cause death or fine and demerit points.

this bike will be surely be my first choice. be kind to ur pocket and other road user.

Hi,

I am a return rider and this bike is also top of my choice,

Althought, I have bought a Yahama YBR for daily usage first.

I need to seriously do my home work and look around.

It seems that NC700 Intergra is the answer....

If only TP can give a special wavier for this bike... class 2A can purchase the power is equal to a class 2A bike. Reduce speed and fuel consumption safer for riders and earth. IF not it is a long 3 years to reach this bike...

in ur dreamland.....30 yrs ago, a bike learner can ride any bike (big or small) on the road with 'L' plate.

road tax was S$10 per bike per yr for any cc (big or small) bike on the road.

no classifications of bike engine cc, no annually bike inspections n no COE.

ps: no need to wear helmet, feel the wind, free as a bird.

who cares about death when u had such freedom.

ooh, all will died eventually, sooner or later.

I dont see the point of this bike unless you must really die die have a new bike. If the main selling point is that it is economical that doesnt make sense to me.

6k can get a nice spec 1 compared to this 19k otr. With the balance 13k you can mod, re-new coe, pay petrol, insurance, overhaul for a long time.

Any benefits gained depends on the user's context.

I was riding a $6k 12-13 year-old ST1100 as a primary means of commute.

Its hefty build was a big minus for me despite the power available. And it doesn't make sense to have so much power on tap when local traffic conditions are so terrible.

You can count the number of trips I make up North with just 1 hand.

Bought a $22k NC700XD.

I shaved $120 off my monthly petrol bills. Not to mention another $250-ish in insurance and road tax every year.

For me, these savings practically pays for the bike if you ride it long enough.

The long servicing intervals also meant cheaper maintenance costs.

It only costs an extra $10 to change the oil filter and 100ml of EO for the DCT.

Honda designed this bike as a commuter, pure and simple.

The low CG gives this bike very good balance. You really have to ride it to appreciate just how well it handles.

Petrol-heads will never get their head around this idea:

"Readily-accessible maximum torque makes this bike far more fun to ride in local conditions."

Oh sure, any Super4 can out-rev'ed the NC700 for the initial few seconds.

On the NSH, NC700's torque means I'm chugging ahead of the Super4 with plenty more on tap.

And I am doing this in a more comfortable riding posture.

I would still have 21 litres more storage with the Frunk.

At the end of the day, the NC700 trumps the Super4 in FC.

So... how would you compare these two bikes again?

PS. Honda really nails it with the NC700 series.

Goo

There's Imperial gallon and Metric gallon. I think you've used the wrong units of measurement for your calculations.

My XD gives me 29-31 km/l on average.
