That famous bike shop

Sent in my Maxsym for respray + fit new panels 2 weeks ago, realized that they screwed up the spray job and alignments of the fairings last saturday and asked them to rework it.

Yet can still tell me "I dont know, we will call u when its ready" when i called to ask on the status today. really to them.

 

Any suggestions what else can i do other than bugging them everyday?

Go there in person and see them do it. Don't lose your cool but don't suck up to them at the same time.

Thanks for the advice bro. I might pay them a visit soon. The calls I'm making are not helping at all..

wow..what colour u respray?

If u want u can go daredreamer its at AC Motors there..same shop they rent...they do quite a good spray job

Too late bro. Lol my bike already stucked there.

 

I fell my bike that time and got deep scratches on the side and also the black panels got chip off.

 

So I bought the new panels from them and might as well let them respray too.

 

I somehow know that something might go wrong due to their reputation that's why I gave them 1 week plus lead time.but didn't think they will screw up this badly. Left the bike there since 20th June. Really pissed.

Anyway the bike shop just called me to go down for collection. Going down right after work. Fingers crossed, hopefully I won't be disappointed again...

the bike looks ok when i scan through just now when i collected it..if there are minor problems i think i will only discover it when i wash the bike.

and i asked them to repair my top box brake light but it was not done. i didnt want to leave my bike there any longer so i just close 1 eye and collected it..

i also noticed the side glove compartment covers used to spring up all the way when i open it but now it only opens up a bit...dont know what the hell happened..

 

anyway these was what i told them to do when i left my bike there

 

- replaced 3 pieces of black panels with deep scratches

- patch up and respray areas on the left side with deep scratches

- replace left pillion handlegrip

- replace left Maxsym logo emblem

- replace left brake lever

- install airbox bracket

- complained about the squeaking noise coming from transmission area (still has the sound)

- repair brake light for top box (they did not repair this)

- make spare key (didnt do this too)

 

total cost $623

spray job alone costs $280

rest of the parts replaced costs no more than $100 each
