TP at Harley Davidson Distributor Incident (31st Mar)

Whats wrong with the event?? The incident got nothing to do with Traffic Police also what!!?

It will be a cool event for sure since its a big scale Ride Safe campaign.

It seems that you're working as a coward uniform group or you have something against the harley riders..

Will we get book in the Traffic Police event on the 28th July for all the modification ?

No lah they won't book you during the event because they need all the Harley riders they can gather to make the event looks good. But once they are done with the event then LTA takes over to summon lor. Best of both world. TP gets the publicity, LTA gets free flow Harleys to summon. One stone kill two birds.

The Singapore Traffic Police and the Singapore Road Safety Council will be organising the Singapore Ride Safe 2012 on Saturday, 28th July 2012 at ITE College West from 8.30am to 12.30pm. We aim to instill safe riding habits and skills to the participants through a series of activities.

 

2. HDS proactively wanna provide official upate as they said .......

If you run a business, this is all about brand management and damage control....

They have brand like screaming eagles...and gone through stringent emission and various test in states.....

I beleive they would want to instill confident on their products and not allowing a potential buyer like to worrry ...like me....if get screaming eagles and be nabbed by the authority here...

 

again these is all about damage control and brand management.....dont your feel that they should be doing something as business runner here?

 

My big eyes are open for sure, thats why I am commenting here to ur wrongly posted when its suppose to be an LTA incident and not a TP incident.

 

It does not matter whether I ride a Harley or not. I am not siding them in any way, I am just trying to get a message out to everyone to stop pointing fingers at others when the fault starts off with the pointer.

 

Doesnt matter who is actively supporting this event, whether its HDS or whoever, if you want to be supportive of the campaign, just go for it. And I dare to say that there will be alot of Harley riders supporting this campaign, with or without mod exhaust systems installed on their bikes.

 

If you have friends in the HOG committee and people who are working in HDS, you would know what have been done regarding this issues. And maybe also know who is/are the cause for the extra stopping of Harleys by the LTA.

If I have something against Harley riders, wouldnt this be a prefect place to nail all who are commenting against the law?

Well, it depends on what you define as a bike..

Dont reckon this campaign is made to disrupt the peace. We are there for a good cause, to promote safe riding. LTA should give face at least. They are now separate entities since the split up. They are hoping for 600 bikes to attend this event. There will be some GOH present too if not wrong.

dat is the reason why i am gonna keep my mouth shut and fingers frozen regarding this issue. too much have been said about it and nothing here will contribute to the betterment of the riding community. just ride. b!#chin ain't helpin

I am good. Would go for this event if I am in Singapore. Unfortunately I am away in some god-forsaken place now. Anyway, I don't think anything special would be done, so like what Jamez say, Just Ride!

 

Enjoy your Harley with or without loud pipes. If one thinks he cannot live with the soft pipes, change bike. If one insist he wants the attention he get from a loud pipes, be prepared to get all the attention he wants, both good and bad attention.

Well as far as my inform tells me, HOG and HDS are still waiting for a reply regards to the incident. Cant get much out from them since the case between the rider/s and LTA has been resolved already.
