how to scandisk with XP? go to "My computer" , right click on external drive, left click "properties" , left click "Tools", left click error checking "Check Now" , select "automatically fix file system error". The scanning & repair of FAT takes a few minutes only.

The scanning for bad sector (hardware damages) will takes hours , so don't select it. Only when FAT shows no error in the scanning, then you might want to scan for bad sector.

thanx!!..

i think my external drive is ok already..

but the bad sector thing took less than a minute

No worries. Thanks to your GPS, it made it a lot easier. I didn't expect the anime shops to be so close by to the A & W place. I feel like going back again to get more.

If you're worried that scooters can't make it, how about my Shadow? It made it. I had to go slowly on 1st gear! My worse fear is mud water going into the exhaust. Thankfully it didn't go in. If not, it'll be a long way to push my bike.

 butt deep? thats' abit exaggerated hahaha...

When it comes to buying anime, I feel taman U is a good alternatives to jb town, coz can bypass all the jams & heavy traffics.

If you wait too long, all the good episodes could be gone.

She's very right. I even had to chart my course to avoid heavy butt-deep water! Even once I had to veer onto the path of incoming cars to avoid the knee-deep water (knee deep for you). Whenever a big puddle came by, I can't lift my legs much higher.

As I told you at GP Petronas. My worse fear is water getting through the exhaust and into the carburettor. The Shadow is my best all-rounder bike. I can't let it get overhauled, especially when it's not even 3 years yet!

For those who didn't go, don't worry, it's not too bad. The trip is worth it. Just that you can see we had to go through high water to get it :cheeky:

oh that's why i couldn't see u when i checked my mirrors after goin thru that flood~ i was kinda worried coz it's butt deep for u.... and the current was rather strong (but think the weight of ur bike could counter that more efficently)

i think it's a good adventure~ goin thru trunk (country) roads and experiencing the bad weather.... can learn more things bout the bike~ and also bout how u cope in the situation... and we did came thru' rather well~ :cheer:

yes, water was butt deep, so I had to detour. The combined weight of the bike, cargo and I was already coming to 300 kg, so don't worry, won't get swept away, lest my tires slip from me.

Yup, it's a good experience to learn. Now I know my bike can get through slowly and also to plot the next best escape route for such floods.
