We are organizing this on a private trip. Leaving end Aug to arrive at Boten Laos next to China border on Sept 2. Total trip in China will be 14-15 days. As such, leaving from Singapore to Chiangmai and back will be an additional 8-9 days. Total will be about 21-23 days.

Hi there. interesting to chance upon your trip to China. My name is Leslie and I am a Sg biker currently living in Yunnan and have pretty much biked to many of the fantastic places that Southwest China has to offer.

 

It seems you are planning a long ride up and it could be possible that I could be of assistance to you. Don't worry, I'm not trying to make money from you guys but just happy to reach out to the communities riding to China.

 

My website is currently under construction so I can only describe in words here. I am working with a local based bike company that has been operation since the 80s, selling, maintaining large cc motorcycles and organising bike tours. We have a fleet of well maintained 2012 BMW G650GS with side panniers, crash bars, skid plates etc that can be rented out (to qualified and licensed riders) from our bases in Xishuangbanna, Kunming, Dali or Lijiang. All bikes are legal, licensed, registered and comprehensively insured.

 

By any chance if you have riders keen to join your tour but do not have sufficient time for the entire leg, and could fly into any of our bases, they can rent our GS for a predetermined period of time and return in a different location. Eg - pick up in Xishuangbanna, return in Lijiang.
