cause everytime when i ride out , and stop at red lights , my engine will stall .

:giddy: :giddy: :giddy:

engine stall usually ntg to do with warm up

its ur idling, its too low- usually this is e reason

if its 1 or below, its too low liao

UNHAPPY with shell?

if you're a frequent malaysia petrol kiosk visitor, you will know that the fuel tank can actually store more than what it's supposed to. 12.8 is when the tank is very dry, and then filled up to the BRIM of the tank. requires patience, cuz once you fill over the metal bar, you gotta fill slowly so it won't overflow.

i used to worry about fuel consumptions. until i realised the thrill of riding in the valve-opened period. haha.

^^

YEAH!! thats what i been saying! brandon u go buy a 250 la, u sure wont regret!! btw i saw your bike parked together with siaogina's bike on tues lol.. knn there also no shade one..

oh 125/full tank(with reserve) is a big prob. i used to do ~120 for MAIN tank (without reserve) when i was using a 37mm carburettor. standard sp carburettor is only 28mm :/

most normal sp on the road, will get you 160-240(thats fully stock) per main tank. flykite's case is exceptional. fuel consumption is also determined by YOUR OWN STYLE OF RIDING. if you dont exceed 6k rpm one.. of course ur fuel consumption will be less.. but you'll get the same power as a 4stroke 50cc bike (joke)

:offtopic: a lil, sp fuel gauge isnt accurate. just so you guys know. some ppl 8L the needle for the fuel gauge is at red, some ppl 10L then tio.. so..

guys, if you have alot of questions, join our outings. ask there. its wayyy easier dont you think? ^^

When u pump high over e metal bar n then close e fuel cap, excess fuel actually flow out through e breather tube.

Dont believe pump really to e brim n close the fuel cap. Look for fuel dripping out from ur breather tube. U may not see it unless its sticking out of ur fairing. If its not it will just drip inside ur fairing.

Why four strokes when all you need is two?

My friend did the idiling for me yesterday , and only if i ride quite long , then the problem wouldn't come . If i ride for short trip , very problemic .. sian .. my RMP is at 1 exactly , you mean i should turn it higher huh ?

That time i went outing with the guys here, 100km still haven drop to the 1st white line of the top of my fuel gauge. Then i realised its because always gg at express way speed FC will be better. Cos everyday i go to camp got lots of traffic light. So on-off-on throttle. THats why my FC is only 170-180km with Shell98. Worse with v-power. Its the style of ur riding (e.g if u like to rev high for biting pt.) and the traffic condition u shld take note of that determines alof of ur FC.

few ways to know when u hit reserves..first method is to ride till reali no petrol in the main tank, den u will find dat ur engine will jus die by itself..another method is to open the cover and look in it urself..third method look at the needle..usually red means low.. but sometimes dere is stil petrol for another 15km ++ i think ur 6.5L for 125km is pretty average...should be pretty fine..:cheeky:
