battery dying on me alr.. after riding for 20mins on eway.. bike will die when i stop. need to off headlight then can start.. -.- tomrrow third day that i'll be going down HKL alr.. woo.

My SP's batt (Wet Cell) weak as well, biketiam told me batt spoile.

 

wondering which of, "Wet Cell" or "Dry Cell" better??

Wat's e cost of both Cells????

[/b] U still under warrenty from them right? Then u should b happy n try to find as many prob as possible now. Anyway a batt cost like 13 bucks from LAB only so dont kanna tok. There is no Yuasa batt for SP. The most branded one i can think of is Shinko.

yep still under warrenty.. can SP be ridden at 6th gear 6 - 7k rpm for long distances? cause i was doing that all the way from jurong to bedok then the batt died on me..

anyway, all rechargable batts like those in your hp, etc run weak after many charges so be prepared for this situation to happen in a year or two. anyway the youngest sp on the road is at least three or four yrs old so u know.

 

weird thing is.. i saw a FZ SP (not RR) at HKL ytd.. stock paintwork and it's very very new and looks original not resprayed.. and i remember seeing another FBA one too..

wa..siao liao...the bikeshop gona charge me 40++ for the batt lehx..=(..den i no choice..coz if i dun chng batt, i cant ride..manx..den hopefully is batt prob nt rectifier prob...running low on cash manx..

Maybe the Q&A can be like in sections , eg: handlebar , headlight , tires , seats .

Then common Qs for each section loh . eg:where to get grip , what's a balance ? etc etc

you'll be able to take your 2A, definitely. what i heard from my friend is that after passing 2A, your points will reset to 13, just like under probation, but without the p-plate.
