dont u realise u lose too much mileage a tank for that trip to make it economical? u spend 70km and can only use 110km. your cost savings is used to offset the distance travelled. does it still make an economical sense to go JB to pump? and how about your wear and tear?

u need a wave lah spchoo

if someone will next pose a question to why i go JB to pump so often, thats becos i'm ald somemore in the north. the to-and-fro trip is about 30km. and i've done my maths well. and i dont just pump petrol and back. thats the key.

yah i have calculated as well. in singapore if i pump SPC (95) to the brim it costs me about 15SGD. if i pump F1 in JB it costs me about 8SGD.

when i pump to the brim using 95 i only get 150km (f-ed up right) whereas i get about 180km when using F1.

subtracting the 70km i use to go to JB and back from the 180km i get a estimated 120km to use before i have to pump again.

so... when i pump in JB i save about 5 dollars per full tank for better petrol (i assume its better since i get more milage using F1).

i agree that wear and tear will probably cost me more in the future but i am only doing delivery for a month or so more. after that i dun think i will go to JB just to pump already.

therefore, i think its worth it for me at the moment to make the journey to JB to pump. if i smoke its confirm worth it. cause i would save a further 5 dollars. therefore if anyone is willing to buy cigarettes from me for 7SGD i would gladly provide the service. LOL dun tell the police

guys guys, can anyone help me out?

may i know how long does one spark plug last?? when is the time u should change a spark plug? when the bike feels no power? on a normaly windy afternoon, after kick start without using choke, engine RPM is at about 800-1000RPM only, and stalls very easily there after. signs of spark plug dying?

and also, normally at around 3000km u guys do a standard servicing right? what does it cover? change coolent, change engine oil, anything else?

Btw, chain of mine is quite rusty and looks "dry" any lubs to recommend for the chain?

Sorry for asking so many question at one go.. hope i get my answer :)

spark plug is expandable parts.. u need to change when u got kickstart problem or engine dying suddenly.. and when warm engine oso hard to kickstart..

it's normal cannot kickstart without choke in morning for me.. since the bike oso 6-7 years old liao.. can't expect it to do one kickstart liao..

coolant 2 years changed.. engine oil about 2-3 months bah... if u got the $$, u can changed every month oso of course..

since we used 2T, engine oil no need to change too often..

eh wtf man. dun only lub your chain when its so dry. must lube it every week or 2 or else very dangerous.

if you idling is around 800-1000rpm when you just kick-start it may be normal. but after the engine warm up already still only 800-1000rpm then something is wrong. go ask your mech to tune your bike. its as easy as putting a screwdriver into the yellow knot on the right side of your bike and turning it but i dun recommend you do it yourself.

if its not that then i dunnoe what it is. go see your friendly neighbourhood mech unless you stay in Bukit Merah. i know of one particular shop you should stay away from...

Signs of not enuff petrol goin in to keep the engine moving..Maybe let your bike idle for a while before throttlin slowly? Or throttle 2-3 times before kickstartin?
