hoooi all dragon riders... cheers!!

i m new in the group, got 2B license only.. can i use nsr 150? is it worth to buy a 6 yr+ old one for 2.5k?.. anyone can advice abt a better buy??.. need sum1s help laa..

i sell you my bike. 1k only ! then you carry on instalment. left 2.4k left on instalment ! wah like super worth it right ?

 

block and carb and piston all in good condition. plus the most attractive part is my engine is modified to make it go faster !!! DWTA (dun waste time already) !!!

Of course u can! But well.. It depends on your liking.. No one here can force you... You call the shots.. If you think SP is the one for you... Go ahead... 2.5? 6 year old? Can go down lower some more...

nonono, u are totally wrong. how can 2t which is flameable creates a coating of protection -.-~

the use of 2t is to lubricate the piston.

since ur piston n block dont cost a few thousand sgd to get them

so the manufacturing process is not that precise.

 

so the run in process is to slowly wear off the extra mms from ur piston to let ur piston to run smoothly. 1000km is just a rough guide. some say 500km enough some say 800km.

fnee, that time u overhaul nv change piston.

 

run in is only for piston n block i suppose.

Good and bad is just the difference between perceptions.

by the way which is the best sportzzy bike for 2-2.5K?.. reliable..maintenance free..resale friendly.. but bp rising also..:thumb:

Maintanence free? Hmmm.. Get 4 stroke bikes.. Just take care engine oil and coolant can already...

most moving mechanical parts need to be run in.

 

if you change only a piston alone, i suppose 500km would be sufficient.

 

if new piston + block i think need more than 1000km.

nnb jus nw riding a lambor overtake me...then stop at junction...

in front lambor...behind farrari...

n my bloody sp is TALLER than their car loh

suddenly i feel as if i m sittin on some ugly giant :faint:

e way they drive die die wana cut u one...bike or car mus give way to them...

maintanence free?? bicycle maintanence free...

hmmm mayb not...u need to oil ur bicycle chain once a while if u ride in e rain :sweat:

a coating of 2t is created on the piston the moment your pistons moves (which is the moment your bike moves).

 

if i remember correctly, running in of piston is to allow the piston rings to somehow adhere to the shape of the piston and form a tight seal. notice that new piston rings are much looser as compared to used ones? the run in period is to let the new piston rings form a tighter seal so that maximum compression can be achieved in the block.

 

sorry ah i don't have the mechanical vocabulary to properly explain it. lol.

no need la, if they wanna overtake me in the same lane as i'm in. i'll just press my horn for 3 secs. they'll have two reactions.

 

1. go back to their own lane.

 

or

 

2. blow past me. (which i think they would since they're driving super cars. haha!)
