i read HK Bike mag.. read that if not bcos 4 stroke replacing 2 stroke bcos of enviroment issue, probably we got 7th generation NSR now.. NSR 07???

 

read tat 2 stroke bike, small but powerful, of course oso noisy.. and polluted if someone wanna argue.. (i remember got fragrant 2T oil and i wonder if we stil have it)

 

fragrant 2T is almost always never fragrant...

 

that's a sensible decision.. at least you'll get comfort and power. although maybe handling will be compromised, you'll get a better ride overall (: how much did you get your spec2 for? my friend was quoted 6k for a spec1 OTR..

 

handling for s4 compromised? i dont quite think so...

 

haha another thing i have been trying to find the diff between spec2 n spec3

 

not in terms of look but performance wise

 

till now i only know the vtec opening rpms thats all zzz

 

spec1 vtec open at almost 7,200rpm

spec2 vtec open at 6,350rpm

spec3 vtec open at 6,800rpm

 

performance wise is the same, except the LED tailights and the speedo/tacho looks difference. both have HISS.

seriously i dont know why u got yourself a spec2, pay so much more $$ for the HISS as compared to a spec1. ok, maybe you want to install a mainstand on the spec2... i dont know... oh and that day u sms me i replied to the wrong number... basket

 

you cant really push on normal roads can you? very dangerous leh. i become humji when riding on roads nowadays. so scary. rather go pg to play, at least if fall, not so jialat. then can have fun pushing the bike ^^ sadly my nsr cant make it to sepang, later half way piston jam

there is a $70+ piston and $100+. from wat the mechanic told me, the $70+ is phantom ta150 piston and it can fit sp. the $100+ is the stock original piston. take the stock original 1, it is better, the ta150 piston jammed not long after i used it.

Bikers BBQ on 1st June Fri at East Coast Park(evening time)

hi guys, juz gt my bike not long ago, gt some questions to ask, hope u guys can enlighten me.

 

1. it seems like my exhuast pipe is abit oily, is it normal or the intake of 2t is too much or too little?

 

2. my fuel consumption seems high, is it all i hav to do is to do tuning for it?

 

3. everytime i start my bike, etc after 4 hours, the bike always dies quickly unless i hold onto the throttle for awhile.. what are the possible problems.., thanks alot .. =)

go get your 2t pump checked. maybe your 2t valve or whatever its called is open too big.

 

your fuel consumption probably has to do with your jettings. it is a combo of fuel jet and air jet. maybe you can get a smaller set. head down to a trusted workship to check it out.

 

after 4 hours i think my bike run out of petrol already. why on earth do u have your bike running for 4 staright hours ?

lol... no leh.. i oso ptp batch.. i pass my ippt inside during the 1st 3 weeks, oso nv come out leh... hmmm the system change liao... if i rem correctly, there is no such things as disrupt liao... from the start u went in, u cant disrupt liao...

2a pracs are damn easy to clear..

 

and from what i guess every 2 weeks. there is one 2a tp so

 

12th june is a 2a.. n 26th june is the next which is fully booked at cdc

 

the next one which will be on july 10th i guess.. hopefully i can get off on that day n can book that tp too coz its the time where PTP is ending n BMT is about to start in a few days time.

maybe u try pulling your choke when you start your bike. sometimes your bike setting cannot tolerate "cold" bike so must warm it up abit or else the engine will die. it is quite normal for you to have to pull the throttle abit to keep the bike running when it is "cold".

actually my OLD SP, EX SP . didnt even need to choke or what so ever **** to start bike even on cold days few days never start just one kick maybe sometimes suay 2nd kick can start le.

 

thats the result of regular full servicing n overhaul =))
