Hi guys, Need help. Got some question to ask.:help:

 

1.) Is it normal that my rear brakes pad to wear off only one side?

2.) When i apply my front brake, Got some funny sound come out. Is it alright?

3.) If it is cause by the disc plate, How much does it cost to change both front & rear?

4.) Is it premix 2T in the fuel tank good for your piston & engine?

 

1) Abit different in wear is normal but it's not normal when 1 side is 30% wear & the other 70%..Have your brake piston check if that's the case.

2) Might be due to dirt or brake dust..Wash and use a compressor to spray out the dust.

3) Cant help..Maybe you might wana check with Jhao

4) Technically it's better than using a 2T pump..

alot of times, people develop such bad habits due to their itchiness to try new stuff.

 

in the case of arrow mirrow. want to look nice. but it result in them developing the bad habit of turning the head around to check blind spot.

 

or sometimes being lazy to signal despite being taught so in driving sch, and causing accident to happen.

 

hope none of this will happen to anyone of us. esp when most people here riding sp are p plate.

 

at the end of the day, what matters is we're alive and healthy in one piece.

1) There's no p plate infront

2) Usually in SG, the p-plate will go missing..even if disturb, the p-plate remains inverted even after 6 months..

my apologies for seeing long term problem rather than short term problems.

 

i dont see the mirror problem as a big issue as it can be solved easily by buying a pair of original. comparing to people who are ignorant and stubborn and who give wrong advices which might cause e victim his life, which you think is more impt?

 

do give more thought on why i would rather criticise than answer that simple question.....

 

* and NO, it is not normal. most prob ur mirrors are not orignal, either that or u're not securing it properly.. or thirdly... u're riding a ducati...

 

so sorri my advice is wrong...new lesson learnt.

 

now mi know it's wrong to check back when ur mirrors don function well due to vibrations.

 

would u like to advise us wad to do in events like this?

 

the mirror wasnt a greater concern to me compared to the mindset.

 

1) they dont haf enuff time always to turn behind and check for vehicle.

2) its not gonna be a habit as it is veri tiring.

 

and eventually, this kind of behaviour on the road would definately cause an accident. i myself haf experience this kind of scenerio many times, and probably thats why i'm taking a serious approach to this matter.

 

no offence to you anyway, ur piority is e mirror, mine was that guy's thiking.

 

1) it's funni when u say not enuff time to check. it would onli take 1sec to check back. ur expriences don appli to all. different ppl haf different judgement of distance/speed.

 

2) mi dare to say those who haf the habit of foldin their mirrors know as and when to check back. it's their habit!!!~

yup, however the main issue here is the time taken to turn your head to check blind spot. As in, the general concern of taking your eyes off the road in front of you.

 

You might feel you're safe doing so, just tt to some others, it might seem a dangerous thing to do. A differing point of view.

 

I belong to the latter group of people, safer than sorry kind. So i stick to stock mirror. Check my mirror then check blindspot by looking over shoulder.

jiahong 21, let them noe how u see behide ur back safe-ly. hahaha.. he install a rear video cam behide his kawa ZX10 with a monitor at his speedo there for checking blind spots ! hahaha.. and a GPS beside it.. like car liao his bike.
