Carbon finished clearing.

 

i just reach home clearing carbon + washing bike.

 

i do at my house cp la. at batok

I think its not bad

I went there twice since i bought my bike last week.

 

The mechanics are friendly and they care to explain what are the problems and what caused it..

i today nv go there but i always go there do my bike, well its cheap for me cos i just buy the parts and install myself. hahs.

 

some harder stuff then pay them workmenship lor. simple stuff i do my self and save $ hehe !

But i think the workmanship not tht much right ?

 

Like today i change the some part in the handle bar (alot of ball bearings)

$80.. Hkl quote me $90..

 

He even emphasize tht the packaging tht its original and from Japan, ha ha

 

So i change there..

ya lor.. they very very friendly all the way and cares to explain.. i also went there most of the time..

 

unless i change tyre... the rest all i do there de.. later on then i realise they are cbks..

 

as for a good moto tiam i also lookin for 1.. very hard to find.. perhaps need our pxperts to intro us bah..

theres once i brought a magnum horn alike from autobacs i think... and bring it to them for installation..

 

tat ***** charge me $20 for just fix.. $25 for an addition swtich.. then ok lor.. i dunwan to fail inspectin as i dunno if can pass not.. so i change with the $25 de lor..

 

After 2 days.. then stock horn cannot sound.. i went back to them and ask y.. cos i fixed a swtich and it should work..

 

Guess wat the mech told me.. i ask him in a very very noob way.. polite etc etc.. in the end he said 1 word.. Huai Liao..(spoit liao lor)

 

Thx... and he ask me again.. wanna change the horn??....... Knn.. before i pass them my bike its workin lor... all the way workin man... now he say mine long ago spoit liao..(all the way no sound de)...

 

then wat am i been using all these while??

 

everyshop got their on ways to earn our bucks lah.. i understand... but this type of cheatin is far too much liao lor..

 

everytime they tell u ur bikes fault sure link to wat u wanna change now and no way to avoid but to change..

The thing is this guy knows his stuff so he didnt get cheated

 

I went to HKL and then HC, both brought up same problems

so i went ahead to change the steering cone..

and the mechanic was pretty persistent tht i change the forks but i firmly told

him not now...

Cuz HKL forks cheaper...

 

I think its an issue all new comers go through with

And its a chance for all mechanics to earn tht extra $$ from us

Cuz we're gullible and would do anything they suggested as long as the

bike condition okay...

I feel sorry for you guys at Hua Chin. I'm a regular there but I never got such bad experiences, but I suggest if there is anything that requires removal of the fairings, go somewhere else.

 

I read the motortiam rating thread, funny leh, they never treat my bike like that. There was once, the mech Ah Chai needed to rev my bike, he even bothered to use some tissue to cover the throttle first then go touch.

 

I think they recognise regulars and give better prices, that's what I noticed.

hua chin?they wanted to change me $10 labour for changing my pgm plugs last time..say wah very difficult to open..muz do this do that..i ji tao screw them and told them i can change it within 10mins..juz open tank..

i agree... go to them onli 4 simple stuiff...

the boss tired to sell me an FL dominator for 3k..

crazy, tt kinda condition. wldnt pay more den 1k.

 

but sad 2 say, i tink tts one of the better shops @BB..

 

thrs one other shop that sells daelim bikes furthur dwn, i tink the lady shop owner quite friendly .. nv tried their svc, so nt sure if they r gd anot..
