Anyone got tips to remove the gas tank from the motorcycle. Because I saw alot rust inside the tank itself. Feel like removing it and clean the rust off. Heard that it will choke the carb.

I just got my SP weeks ago but recently I found out that inside my right fairing has been collecting a lot of black oil/dirt to the extend that even when in contact with a bit of water it will keep dripping black oil like substance to my fairing. And then whenever I close my throttle there's smoke coming out of my right fairing near the throttle cable. Is it normal? Please help this is troubling me thanks!

Hi all new rider here. I just overhauled my engine 3 days back. Initially my bike was doing ok but today when I start my engine it keeps dying off.

Even when it doesn't, when I tap down to gear 1 it dies off instantly.

I've called the bike shop to ask about this problem and he told me is the carburetor settings or something like that.

Anyone have similar experience? Care to share the solution?

Mine also a lot of rust inside the tank. You cleaned your tank yet?

well taken care of, serviced regularly.Engine has no problems. Serviced every 1500km.

 

From what I know, Bike is stock according to shop except for racing foot rest. There are slight scratches to the side fairing as bike was dropped leading to footrest slightly bent.

Passed inspection: jan/feb. Mileage Full tank: 220-230km Pumps - Caltex 98

Its under your seat to the right. Have to remove the right seat fairing though.

Full overhaul would be inclusive of con-rod and camshaft, valve check ( replacement of o ring )

 

Restoring of bike is rebuilt.

For rebuilt cost depends on the necessary parts that need to be replaced.

If you're looking just for out look can just go for re-spray your fairing, rims and chassis.

everytime i kickstart already, the motor is running then it dies very fast like 5-10s die off already. then i try kicking again and it start already. this time i rev abit and it died when i was revving.

 

why ah? is it something to do with clutch cable or spark plug or what?

 

any recommended motor shop good at servicing SP in the east...?

many factor can cause this issue. better go for full servicing to see what happen.....

did u use choke when start every morning?
