Thanks. I just needed to confirm. I read in this discussion that choke is not spring loaded. I was confused.

bro, when you rev your throttle lightly, lets say @ 2000 RPM, and when you pull up your choke at the same time, does the RPM automatically goes up to 4000 RPM+?

I just need to know which is the normal behaviour. Thanks.

The best is full syn 2t oil. But its bit ex.

You also can go to semi syn 2t, if you ride only below 7k rpm.

What sound? Knocking sound ? Or?

Why do you need to do that anyway? I only use the choke to startup during cold starts.

Thanks. Because I realised yesterday my choke is not working. I pulled up and rev and the RPM did not jump. The RPM used to jump when I pull the choke.

If my choke is not working, then cold start might be an issue. Thanks. Will have it checked. Do you know any trusted workshops for NSR 150?

Edit: I was also unsure what is the stock behaviour for the choke for NSR 150.

Stock foot rest, carb tunings and "mods"?

When I got my current NSR, it had kick start issues but I thought it was normal for NSR. Until a mech told me that my NSR's air intake device (a small plastic blacktube under the seat) was not present which hindered the kickstart; and the carb settings was rather aggressive.

How do we tell whether is the exhaust street legal? Sorry if I sound too noob. Coz my exhaust is stock.

See any unusual weld mark beside original from manufacture. Normally near stomach area there

My sp is fully serviced at K&T (Ubi). Popular bike shops would be Planet Motor (Ubi), Gyrate Tech Engineering (Defu), or you can try Bikeworkz (Ubi) too.

There's a SP group on Facebook. It's more active there. Have you joined?

Can't remember the url but try finding Singapore NSR150SP Riders.
