hello guyz.. dun mind if i ask...

how much does a rectifier 4 SP cost?..

coz recently my bike died all of a sudden in the middle of traffic light. eventho the key is at "on" not even the speedos haf lights... i dun think its the battery coz its only 3-4mths old... i suspect its the rectifier not charging my little battery.. but if u guyz think its something else, pls do enlighten me... thanx!!

It could be your battery, go motorshop and have it changed first, if the problem still persist then most probably its your rectifier spoil liao. Anyway you can check whether your rectifier is working by seeing if the headlights grow brighter when you rev your bike. Your headlight should grow brighter when you rev and become dimmer when you close throttle

the bad thing is 2nd link got toll.. $1.20 and Rm1.30. sian.

haha yea thats the most discouraging part about 2nd link, however i shall list what i feel is good about 2nd link.

- Nearer for people living in the west side

- Seldom have to worry about jam

- Can clear carbon

- Nicer riding conditions with nice broad roads and little vehicles

- Can try out top speed of bike, however i do not encourage it lah :cheeky:

Therefore i just treat paying SGD$1.20 and RM$2.60 as the fee for such benefits, anyway we still save alot as compared to pumping locally. Just my opinion

oh thats a way to see if rectifier is working?

i thought thats a sign ur battery is not tt new anymore

cos when i installed new batt, rev or dun rev still v bright...but on old batt rev then will become brighter

UNHAPPY with shell?

Take your money elsewhere then. I did.
