how to diffrentiate a REAL ROLEX or FAKE one

how to know a real rolex or a fake one,?>pls help........tell me more in details.just helping a friend............

for beginners... i think u observed the paintwork in the sensitive areas bhind the watchface, the base for the linings.. the weight plays a important factor, too heavy got problem too light got problem. shake it vigorously shldnt have loose pts. shake it bside the ear.

bring the cert to the rolex agent and they will verified for you. btw, i'm looking for a second hand rolex daytona stainless steel[not the gold model] black or white dial. anyone selling please PM or list here, thanks :sweat:

anyway i think u can call to enquire the serial number from the cert ba.

 

u can pay a small token sum to get real experts to help u out. 1 from bugis area the building opp OG got 1 specialised in rolex and of course the one in orchard...

real ROLEX are spelt wif R O L E X

whreas fake ones are spelt R O L E G

well ,hit it make it spoilt,hehe ,my fren need to help his parents,it is a family heir,that is why the parent tend to sell it off in order not to get cheated.

I dont think those market hawkers know much about Rolex bah... Prawn sellers cant make much. Maybe try fishball noodle hawker who drives Merc and wears Rolex might know something...

What do you mean by lighting the matches?

You can actually light a match on a Rolex? Which part? Where are these matches from? Are they kept in the watch or what...

Happen to bump in here.

It's an old thread so I reckon you should have bought it already if you were looking for it in 2004

 

Anyway, Passion at Funan has a second hand White dial Daytona.
