Hi all,

 

While many might chide me for not doing research, I paid SGD178 to get some light bulbs replaced as well as inspection + road tax for half year on my super 4.

 

I've not been riding for years so you can claim it's partially due to ignorance but it is a bit more expensive than what I expected to pay.

 

Breakdown asf:

 

SGD100 for inspection

SGD61 for half year road tax on Super 4

SGD17 for all headlamp light bulbs' replacement

 

You guys know the deal so I'll reserve my comments. You be the quiet judge.

What is $100 inspection.?? is it just checking for any loose wires, brakes etc?

Sorry, the inspection was the annual inspection.

My bike has Yoshimura end can but has a certificate. Basically, I needed to be elsewhere so didn't have time to do it (not knowing how long).

 

Like I said, I'm not wholly blaming it on the shop. I was ignorant, but didn't expect the actual price of inspection on behalf to be much lower.

 

Yes the point of the post is just to let others know about their shop and the kind of prices they charge.

You forget they have to toll your bike to inspection center & back. If fail inspection . Repeat again.

They didn't tow. They ride.

I was specifically told that "My guy already 'ride down' to LTA" when I called to cancel the inspection. To me it's the same as order a steak, they take 30mins, you wana cancel and they always tell you "they're cooking it now!".

 

Anyway, damage done but like I said, good to share such info so you know which shops to choose or not choose. Let people be the judge. If they're capable of charging at premiums then they are capable of doing it to you (or a noob) too.
