270 for full tank, 13 L?

That s around 23km/l. I dont think it's good.

 

I reached average 29km/l with pillion.

For my case,

Average 28L/km without pillon.

 

Full tank max 380km,tried once with hyper mileing in mind.

Avg 340 then top up.

I get about 420km per tank. I'm a super slow rider....:-)

 

edit : I do mainly off peak and highway rides, solo.

I get consistently 35 -36 km/like on my HD2I 200. Engine ccapacity is same as GTS. Maybe 'cos 70% on expressway or could it be the fuel injection and slimmer body of the HD2I helps.

It s easy to open the gauge. Just make sure your wheel is facing straight. If it's turned left, you wont be able to open it.

I ever push my bike to 330km, tank almost empty. Left about 1.xx Litre left. 1 litre can get me around 26 ~27km max.

 

Depending your work area and throttle handling also. I am the vroom vroom type. So a bit more high on the move off.

Bro, Direct injection, with the "i" is more fuel efficient. GTS200 Carbs type is slightly lower.

Bro, try using a finger to push the cap inwards and turn the key to the fuel cap release position before releasing your finger, more effective, can try. It works for me many times.

You can go to Global Motor at Kaki Bukit. The GTS200 having promotion. And installment is low in interest. Only 3 percent so far.

Two odd things happened this morning when riding-first, my low petrol warning light lit up (yellow) suddenly and the fuel gauge went from last bar to zero bar! The fuel gauge didn't even blink...strange. I quickly stopped at the nearest petrol station and then the second odd thing occurred-I managed to push the Esso nozzle fully into the fuel tank! Put in 12liters....

On closer inspection of the fuel tank, seems there's 2 protruding plastic pieces that stop the nozzle from entering the tank....I need to investigate further but I think it is spring loaded...anyway....FYI

Can anyone kick-start the bike or electric start the bike in one start or smoothly without turning the throttle?

Early morning I tried kick starting and my shirt already got wet even before riding. The bike still won't budge.. Still let me kick start like ku ku..

 

My bike onli 1 month plus old and I got problem, dunno whether it's me or it's common. can any seniors advice me?
