Hi guys,

 

Any chance anybody mounted any camera on bike? Care to share how it was mounted? Photos will be better.

 

I am planning to mount one (mobius), but don't want to mount it each time i ride. (prefer to fix it one time and each time i ride it autos on, very much like for car)

 

let's hear some ideas...

Good action camera, but always to mount and dismount. Unless you made some special arrangement? (e.g. DIY setup on helmet, embedded in bike, etc)

 

I am thinking of the lazy method, turn on bike and camera turns on as well, throttle and go. Only when needed, then i retrieve video, else would not touch it. (very much like a car dash cam setup)

 

Any one else?

 

I am thinking along the line of the video below, but still need further improvement to hide body of mobius as extension wire only 8 inches long.

and also i can take it out when parking the bike on public areas, can access the Memory card

and using bike. i can ensure it's waterproof.

 

And all depends on your cam, does your cam will overwrite the memory card everytime you recording ?

Yes, it will overwrite the old ones first (FIFO).

Ok..i just did change Shinko tire at $130 front and rear..

guys anyone here have do top overhaul? Can i know what they did they do and change?

Valve clearence, timing chain,gasket,coolent,engine oil??is that correct or there is more?

 

Im thingking to sent send my bike for top overhaul as the symtoms are..

difficult to start, idling is not normal.. when riding slow felt the bike wanna die .. tempreture goes up at 2 bar and 3month need to refill water at coolent..

2 bar is normal. That kind of big overhaul better do it at mforce jb. Here they will kill u

Hmm. The camera need to place somewhere hidden. For gts200 the place I could think of will be the front windshield area. The camera module will be on the front compartment . Lots power source on that area. You can go to sim lim tower for the flexible extension. But not too long, the longest the cable it might interfere wither vid quality

Hi guys, it me again. I was thinking of doing some changes to my bike wiring but donno how. I just want my alternator to power my bike excluding the signal light and horn. The signal light and horn will be powered by dry cell battery. Meaning do a separate wiring and power for signal light and horn only. Wondering if this modification is possible?

Actually my battery is not working anymore because it damage due to i seldom ride. I merely using my alternator to power my bike when I ride. I think the alternator is not powerful enough because my horn and signal is not functioning 100%. So I want to use maybe size D battery to power my horn and signal or I change to a more powerful alternator? Do u think it is possible?

Very Good Shop,Infact transparent with their Price,Best Part No Chop,certain parts he told me in good condition no need to change.

Bike feels so new after major service from them.

BTW tyres there also very cheap.

 

Upz for their Friendly Service as well.

 

Anyways on my way back,got lost and rode ard 60km ended in legoland area,managed to again end up in Tuas checkpoint,suppose to go to woodlands ... Good experince thou....

Bro. Get you ac gen checked and the rectifier. It's not normal. And using battery without charging it can resulted the battery depleted and you end up with no lights

Bro, I changed my charging coil and rectifier on 3 Mar 2013. Don't think these thing break so fast right?

Hi guys, i just collected my new gts 200 last sunday, running in now, but now i am having a problem starting the bike especially during cold start in the morning, i have to throttle abit to prevent engine dying off, is this normal?

well, when i collected my new bike previously, i have to turn the throttle abit then electric start, else will not start. even bike shop also recommend me to do that... and it is also stated in booklet, so i guess it is normal for some bikes.
