doesn't include COE too right?

To ride on the road, You need skills,Stamina, or even luck.

But to be a good rider, you have to change with your environment, and adjust yourself to its rhythm.

Cultivate the confidence to face the different situations. Don't let yourself to be subdued by the environment :thumb:

of course got COE, 6k+ must be on the road excluding insurance ( everybody no same ).

if not don't go cause they think you robert ( carrot ) liao.

me estimate spark / jupiter is around 3.5k +/- & COE around 1.8k more or less a bit. the rest is all the stupid charges like road tax, IU lah, 'admin' ( big knife ) & whatever they can dream up of.

should be around less than 6k, with EVERYTHING except Insurance ( too much variation ). also this does not include interest if you take loan of course. anymore than the above mentioned is chop deep deep liao, watch out!

btw, of course is no box or basket lah! that one is extra $!

A class 2 bike selling for only 7K ringgit! And its a FZ1! Amazing, a class 2 bike selling cheaper than a class 2b bike in singapore.....Wah if only i stayed in malaysia.....

sorry bro, but i believed you must be mistaken, either you misunderstand or the was a once in a lifetime lelong!

over in boleh land, even some higher end 2b bikes are about this price, cheaper than sg after conversion, no COE some more. but i still don't think 1000cc can be this cheap. pre-owned or second hand? maybe it is not 1000cc?

every country got import tax. bikes assembled in boleh land are cheap as the tax is low. foreign import bikes under CBU ( Completely Built Up ) direct import from Japan are very expensive in boleh land. that is why most boleh landers ride small bikes. big bikes are still for only the well-off.

taxes vary with different countries, UK & Europe & other areas of Asia are different.

USA got one of the lowest vehicle import tax, that is why their foreign cars & bikes ( not made in USA ) are so cheap there even after currency conversion.

so that is why most of the ang mohs in US & Europe ride bigger bikes & cars, cause they are relatively cheap, average guy can afford it.

even before COE, we in sg have one of the highest vehicle import tax in the world for cars & bikes. most of the prices in sg even without COE are the highest priced in the world, sometimes almost twice the price of the same models sold in US. even if COE is $0!

with COE, no need to say more...

edit: same story with petrol tax, even when most of the petrol sold in sg is refined here in sg jurong island.

Hmm maybe i saw wrongly, might be the downpayment thats only 7k ringgit. Even so, in boleh land its kinda good seeing those legendary 2 stroke bikes, RD350 etc. A legendary bike thats still able to move.....awesome

mebbe wat you saw was an FZ16?

or you missed one zero on the price, actually RM 70,000?

coz as i understand it, although its true their small bikes cheaper than as sold here, the tax system makes their class 2 bikes nearly twice the price as sold here.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

right! class 2b in MY is cheaper than SG, but their class 2 is more expensive most of the time. when you factor in the average income in MY, it is only for the well-off.

eg. saw a 600cc sportsbike selling for around RM 66+k, after conversion is around SGD26k, but when u factor in their income, it must be like we singaporeans buy SGD 66k!

when the same bike in US sell for only USD 11k which is only SGD 13.5k, cheaper than SG & most americans can afford.

btw, i believed malaysia sells the FZ -150i, right? have not seen FZ-16 there yet, unless new model going for RM 7k or FZ-1 for RM 70 k, more likely.

anyway a little out of the topic, ninja 250r is a common sight in malaysia. wonder why singapore never imports them hmm....if i was a malaysian, would probably buy lc135 and get those aftermarket pipes thats not approved in singapore. indeed music to my ears hehe
