Not sure whether this model will ever come into Singapore. Hoping to change bike. So far most bike shops' responds are waiting for dealer to bring in. Who's the dealer for Singapore? Hong Leong?

@skyspoon Wah the black version looks good. Got the MT-series feel similar to the "Dark Side of Japan".

I don't think they are currently any Tricity 300 around, only the Yamaha Tricity 155, RRP @ Hong Leong Yamaha is approx S$16,000 OTR (excluding insurance).

You're looking for more power thus the 300? The Tricity 155 is very suitable for Singapore's roads actually as it is small enough to still lane split and get out of traffic jams!

P.S. You can contact HL @ https://wa.me/6590585000 (Whatsapp) if you're looking for any Yamaha bikes - Special price for SBF members. ;)

Yes, partly more power + currently I'm already riding 300cc and the compartment size is also bigger for a maxi-scooter.  Thus going back down to 155cc is not really ideal. Just hope they bring it in in the near future. LOL

@skyspoon It's here.. Hope you haven't bought another bike yet. Look out for our review coming in the next couple of months!

P.S. Hong Leong is taking pre-orders for the Tricity 300 if you can get your hands on the 1st batch!

OMG! Thanks for the info! So can only pre-order from Hong Leong? I can get my bike dealer to handle also right? (although I know they'll mark up the price)

@skyspoon Yes bro, any of the authorised HL dealer should be able to get it for you. They'll just take the bike from HL anyway.

The Tricity 300 is now in Singapore and available for immediate purchase.

Have you gotten yours yet?

@JohnThanos Machine price ~S$20k. At current COE prices of 9k, OTR price will be ~ $29,000. If you mention SingaporeBikes at Hong Leong they might be able to do you a better deal. ;)

The machine price stated here is utter crap. Machine price is $20,744

@archenemy, thank you for your clarification bro. Yes you are right we have edited the initial post. Machine price is ~$20k and with current COE the OTR price for the TriCity 300 would be closer to S$29,000+.

Are you thinking of getting one? :)
