BIKERS BEWARE PARKING IN HOTEL CONTINENTAL AND SHOPPING MALL BASEMENT CARPARK.

My ST1100 was parked last Saturday in their carpark and was wheel-clamped. I had parked where most of you guys parked together in Basement 1 and it was not obstructing any doorway, walkway, fire-equipment area and it was outside a car lot. It was parked between a corner wall and an empty car lot. I explained to the security guard why my bike was wheel-clamp but another bike parking in the car lot was not. He said it is ok to park there despite no sign saying so. I wrote to the management and they say all also cannot park, except the bike lots and they cannot put signage everywhere. Seem to me that there is some sort of entrapment here and its up to the security guard to play God.

Anyway, I will NEVER patronize Hotel Continental and its shops again. You never know what other "hidden cost" will jump at you when you park there, even though its free parking for bikes. If you have ever had this experience, you will know how I feel.

Be Warned!!

Actually a lot of place is like this de..

just follow bikes or find a decent bike lot.. 🤣

sometimes.. paying for carpark is way cheaper then a “maybe” wheel clamped..

I was wheel clamp at suntec before.. I say we used to park like this and everyone park like this.. he say no more and u suay.. (park less then 15min).. 😓

(when they are undergoing renovation about 5-6 year ago and came up with motorcycle lots)

later whole wheel jump out.. 😂

if they damage it.. then you can have to proved, it's their wheel clamp that damage it.. Building management.

Usually they will put a cloth and protect your wheel and clamp with that..
