License plate color

Fella SBFers,

 

Recently went for inspection. Number plate failed.

 

Hope to hear some recommendations on where to change it cheaply..

Appreciated if cost and method(whole plate/digits change) are provided as well.

how come ur number plate can fail? did u change before? go to 219 motorshop to make a new one loh.. whole new plate wif number

Failed cos 1 of the digit cracked.

 

Btw, where is 219 motorshop? And how much does it cost?

went to ask at auntie sticker. the daughter's shop, number plate with number for $15

oh no, i dint go and ask specially for u. wanted to change my number plate few weeks ago, so when to ask.. paiseh..

its not beside lab, its near to 219 sticker or b plus.

Changed my num plate liao, Black background wif white digits. Metal one. 20bucks..

My friend went for LTA inspection today, he forgot to mount the black & white plate (got it from previous owner), so he went with yellow/black plate instead.

He FAILED due to wrong color, had to go home, change plate to B&W plate, go again... PASSED

 

My Bike has yellow black plate too.. So now I wonder, What color does your plate need to be ? if B&W, where to get one ?

why is tat so? i got nagged by my bike shop for making a black number plate in front cos i have a yellow plate behind? why ah? any special reasoning or rule that dictates this?

well to play safe jus go bike shop and tell them say u wan to make the PASS kind and approve by LTA then u wouldnt have any problem

just to be safe...go to shops dealing wif license plates...

if they were to give u wrong info...just highlight the name of the shop to the police and u should be home free....

 

but since u r enquiring about the rear license plate being yellow....

the front HAS to be white wif black numbers...

 

just went fer inspection and left without any worries...
