thanks!!! managed to clear L6 today - but, still had quite a long lecture at the end of the session how the group was riding dangerously.

I can understand that the Instructors mean well and they want us to ride safely ... but i must say, sometimes, at the end of lessons, you do leave feeling quite lousy.

Well Ive got cr this coming Tues & Thurs 830am. Then I'll hv to extend pdl - last day 13th feb.

 

Ive also booked 1 rr 1st week of march 830am. I'd recommend that you experience at least 1 morning rr as it would best resemble road conditions on test day. Book that slot if you can. Cant remember if its mon or tues. Need to look at my office calender lol.

 

Im anticipating Route 1 for tp. The last rr i attended in end jan, that grp were all tp people & they made 2 rounds of route 1. Given my date is much further away i opted for both route 1 & 2, thus joining those preparing for L8.

Bros. I realize that every time I park my bike and came back after a few hours there's this patch of thin oil under the gear box. I tried turning the cock off but there's still leakage. Any tips to how to find the leaking area? And how much does it cost to fix it up in shop. Nsr SP

Second day riding it. Too overwhelmed!

 

I don't think I can achieve Class 2 but I do have a dream bike. Daytona 675R or a Suzuki GSXR600.

If i'm riding a sportsbike. NO. its just wrong... softcase side panniers if i really need to carry more stuff... top box is just so so wrong... imagine a ducati with a top box...

 

If i'm riding a road bike for normal commute. Top box.

I was the owner, and my bf was my subrider. My insurance under non-rider. So only my bf can ride, till I pass.

 

Another option is to buy the bike with you as owner, put it on layup. Means road tax will be canceled. No need buy insurance. But the bike can only remain at your designated carpark till you de-layup it (get your license).

 

The process of laying up is quite easy but the de-layup part is troublesome and may waste unnecessary money. Before it can be put back on the road, you will have to send it for re-inspection. And to pass the inspection, you may have to spend some money to do up the bike till it is LTA - APPROVED. Plus towing charges ain't that cheap.
