Hi everyone.

I just enrolled at CDC for 2B. I understand that the best way is to do multiple lesson bookings and cancel at least 48hr before. The website states working days only, so does 48hours include Sundays? Meaning if I book Sunday morning and Tue night lesson, still can cancel in time? Another question is whether lessons can be "re-sold" to fellow learners? Can just print receipt and sell to another guy?

Thanks for help!

Yes - it includes Sunday. So if lesson is Tuesday night... Sunday night still can cancel.

The reselling one a little tricky. I have not figured it out much myself when I was taking lessons there. I know passing the ticket to another guy is not acceptable tho. If they do that, they risk people booking sessions and selling that at a higher black market price :p

Reselling need both parties to be present and then go to the counter and look for the staff, she will then ask you to write a black and white for their audit purposes. I did once before cause i pass the lesson already then i have 1 more immediately after, but the guy that failed in my slot ask me if i want to sell lo . However, do note that lets say the lesson is 25 dollar, you will only can 15 back cause 10 is for admin charges since it last minute.

Not too sure about others but this is how it worked for me.

Hi all, was just surfing around the web and chanced upon this forum

Am now at prac3, taking my lessons reallllyyyy slowly as i have work 6 days a week, only taking lessons on Tuesdays

Just curious, if you book multiples and cancel the session, is the money refundable?

Going for my 2nd prac 3 attempt tomorrow, been watching alot of youtube videos on how to corner properly (failed miserably the first time round). Feeling rusty as my previous session was like 2 weeks ago.

& is there room for one more person in the groupchat? would love to be able to make more friends whilst learning!

Good luck everyone!

Thanks bro @NewbieRider and @rijac for the reply.

Passed my prac 3 after the third try today, was raining quite a lil bit and almost wanted to skipped the lesson

Figure 8 timing was about 11.4s, instructor decide to pass me afterall due to the rain i guess?

Nevertheless, on to prac 4!

Hi all, This is regarding exiting from ebrake section. Most of the tips in this forum says while exiting the give way road sign, after ebrake, the road must be clear (2 lanes). What does this mean exactly ? How long the lanes (both the lanes) has to be clear ? what would be the rough guidelines that we can follow ? Any lights pls ?

Posted

Two lanes definitely must be clear before you can move out. The question is how far the car is from you.. to be consider as safe. I think you better check with the instructor on this. It will also depends on the speed of the car too. Its always good to err on the safe side. Worse case it's a point deduction instead of immediate failure.

Thanks rijac & ciscube.

Also, the second right turn signal from CDC (in lesson 6 while going out to road) looks very short...The right green arrow comes but immediately getting stopped as well....

How did you guys guess the timings for these kind of signals ?

Posted

Out on the road, always be careful of green lights. I would always go slow and ready to stop if changed to Amber or green arrow blinks. Approaching green light, I always take my own sweet time and hope it turns red for me to stop.

Completely agree with you. But at the same time, my case is little bit different.

I was waiting at the juction (1st vehicle at stop line) and two vehicles in front of me waiting for turn after the stop line and inside the yellow box. (Actually there is no yellow box, but just saying here for visualization). When there is no oncoming vehicle, those two vehicles turned right while the signal was green.

I was still waiting (at stop line) then green (full green light signal stopped) came the right arrow green signal. I saw the green arrow and about to start, but the arrow blinked only once and all red. (that time, i just crossed the stop line)

Unfortunately no... I failed with 1 IF because my front tyre passed the red line at the E-brake station 😭😭😭

How did you do?

Felt like a bum last week and was on the verge of giving up. Hahahahaha

Stuck at prac 7 again and the next one (my third lesson) will be somewhere in January. From Sept to now and i'm only at prac 7.

Ronnie was being a bum. He drove past us and told us that it's 8.05pm and we should be on the most left lane because bus lane time is over. But we went out from CDC at around 7.45pm so we assume bus lane is still operating. Failed for the slightest error.

Another friend from Bahtera's group passed and was given a reminder about the bus lane operating hours. What luck!
