Thanks all.

I'm trying to book theory lessons now, I'm assuming I can book more than 1 lesson at a time. Can I take lesson 4 before lesson 2 for example?

Also, there's so little slots, when will the new slots be available?

Can I also book defensive riding theory lessons at the same time as normal theory?

Thanks

just trying to answer the question lah.. why they teach us left leg down. we are also supposed to stop at stop sign and stop line but 90% of us don't. same concept. there is a reason and its up to use if we follow or not. not stopping at a stop sign is also dangerous but we do it anyway. lol

Actually what they teach might not be correct. especially i feel it ebraking is wrong, braking with a four fingers is quite dangerous if you are kan joing when a car suddenly swift into your lane, u brake too hard u going to wheel lock and skid. 70% of bike accident is cause by self skid.

And also it is better for the engine and gear box if u upshift your gear without clutching in, and it is much smoother, u can try it out.

I used to ride with two fingers on the brake... kenah corrected so many times until one instructor ask me is this problem I have a mistake or habit. they say dun want to brake must not touch brake lever. when wanna brake, then must press all four fingers. Then when I go riding, this two fingers go resting there again.

yeah when i go for my 2A and class 2 lessons i also have to switch back to 4 fingers. will automatic ride differently on lesson and on my own. I have many close calls if not bec my fingers are stand by on the brakes i think buang many times already.

Anyone here took at least 4 times to clear Prac 3? Especially when you're still stuck at Figure 8.

looks like 6 months is a good average for 'hardworking' people who camp online every day to book slots! lol

The skill of camping is very important. Suppose to take my first lesson for prac 7 on 1st sept.

after applying the camping skill, i am now i'm going for my second prac 7 lesson on 27 aug.

were you the one with the vid of a bike into your lane? what fast reflexes..

nah not me. I think i saw it too at today riding thread. 2 fingers helps la but may be some ppl prefer other methods.

well the method they expect you to use is come to a stop without skidding. thats the purpose of the lessons i suppose to teach you how to stop quickly without skidding.

in reality, we will usually be traveling much faster than 30kmh on the road so likely hood of stopping safely in an emergency situation is slim. in many cases swerving out of danger might be better than stopping.

Actually what they teach might not be correct. especially i feel it ebraking is wrong, braking with a four fingers is quite dangerous if you are kan joing when a car suddenly swift into your lane, u brake too hard u going to wheel lock and skid. 70% of bike accident is cause by self skid.

Addie, I'm guessing you are a girl?

Go to the first post on page 4 of this thread. I once posted a very useful tip on dismounting the bike from mainstand.

Use ur knee to nudge the crashbar forward.

As to falling, grats on falling only once! Another lady here has pretty much made an art of falling, and doing so sexily.

Learn the sexy fall style, but not the frequency.

Her highness has already destroyed far too many good 2B bikes at CDC.
