agree with you, go with your heart when finalising your decision. if you do not get it now, you will keep thinking about it and get it eventually. maybe when we get the bikes, can meetup and try each others bike.

nah keyxblade. althought it is dying out. but surely alot die-hard fan will keep the 2-stroke bike surviving in SG. alot motordiam or forummite said that once you get on a 2-2-stroke and go into a 4-stroke with same cc.. it feel real bad feeling.

Yeah won't completely die off But less ppl will ride 2 stroke. Since there are no more new 2 stroke bikes right? It will be difficult to maintain as the bike age.

Now already much lesser 2 stroke than 2 to 3 years back. Last time everyday I see a few Honda sp and krr. Now May be 2 days see once.

That's true, but it isn't really dying in Malaysia. Krr are still new there, along with 125z's... So i guess for sgeans wanna maintain their 2strokers now or in the future, gotta go over the borders to get parts if really bo bian. Abit leceh tho...

That's damn true bro! I saw a heap load of krr/sp back in february when i joined. now ah... getting lesser and lesser.

fz16 is also selling at quite cheap prices right now, the lowest i saw being 5k fully paid.

You guys will get valuable, first-hand advices on 2strokers soon enough. Krr are definitely an ideal one; noone here had gotten it though. I've got a TZM150, which most people had said being a problematic bike and 'motor saket'(always ill bike). Also, there's rijac with his RS125, where most people say expensive and all. There's also the all-famous NSR150 SPs by JrCherish and darkredmica. In a matter of months where we pass our 2b(in exception of JrCherish), with no biased views, we will enlighten those that are of doubt for these 2stroke sportbikes.

I had always believed in 'You get what you want'. If you don't like what you get, let's say you get the popular kupchye Spark 135, then a TZM/NSR/KRR/RS125 rides beside you, your heart would feel uneasy, thinking that that's the bike you always wanted, but you're stuck with a Spark whereby you got it due to peer pressure and bad reviews.

As of now, I know my TZM is of a fairly bad shape, but I am going to be responsible in taking care of everything to get it back to good health, because

1. I love how this bike looks, feels and how it just got my head turning everytime I saw it on the road

2. TZMs are very rare on the road.

My advice is go get what you want. People recommend you get this, get that, you go first hand see and feel the bike.

AND BE REALISTIC. If you are a student like me who works part time earning less than 500 a mth, don't go for an Yamaha R125 for 12k or Aprilia RS125 (06 onwards) for like 6k.

I may be young, but I'm just sharing my opinion. Peace!

Young man. You totally just ignore my Vespa PX150 (used for photoshoot)

anyone knows about plate? how does the process work if I see a plate I like? Can I keep It without a bike / or 2b license? Will it cost a lot / or inconvenient to have it transferred to another bike?

Posted

No. U like from someone transfer to new bike is $100

No. U like from someone transfer to used bike is $1300.

Transfer fee to LTA

Plate price depends on OWNER set price :)

bro thanks for your help. sorry got some more questions.

Can I purchase a plate and then keep it first without a bike? ( paying the seller the plate price and the transfer fee to lta)

and then as I understand from what you said, pay either 1300 for a transfer to a used bike or 100 to a new bike NEXT time?

What are the cost involved if I get a bike with a plate that I like to keep but the coe is expiring and cannot be renewed? ( to keep and not to directly transfer to another new or used bike)

thanks so much

No you cannot keep a licence plate without a bike. It is stuck with a bike. One classic example is, bike stolen in Malaysia, plate is gone as well. If I'm not wrong it is linked with the chassis.

WAAAAA! After 6 weeks hell training. Finally pass out. Got time go take class 2b. 14th will be my first prac. But my unit post me go be driver. Kns. Now scared no time.. Sians.

U can purchase a plate without having a bike.

U can keep the plate for 1 year, even if after buying the plate the bike coe is over.

U can only hold the plate for 1 year, hence, u need to get your bike within that year.

some ppl (@timewalker) would disagree with you! lol

Rich, I honestly wouldn't know. The only 2 strokers I've ever tried were the SP, KRR and TA150. Of the 3, I loved the KRR the most. Perhaps one day I'll get to try ur RS125 and see how it handles ;)
