I spent >2k on my 2B licence and failed the TP more times than I care to remember, it was really traumatic. There's people who took even longer, and of course, many who just gave up, so you don't "win". :) All good now, passed 2A on my first attempt and I'm back at CDC for class 2. :)

How old are you? All the best for Class 2!

don't talk nonsense. you passed on one try.

Now all comparing number of attempts. Win. I'm the suckiest already.

circuit revision is fun. can do whatever you want. almost.

So, slalom will have to be clear under 6 seconds just like the crank course? For plank, above 6 seconds, what's the timing?

Revision can be booked after lesson 5 onwards, although it is not compulsory?

Thanks, I'm ancient compared to most people here. 34.

One thing I noticed during class 2 lessons, some of the 2B learners are very impatient, overtaking in the circuit, sometimes on my left side. Very bad manners, please don't do that.

34 isn't ancient at all. There are more ancient ones.

Am no longer a 2B learner. I will take note for 2A next year on 25.09.14. Haha.

I am 155cm. Who else here can beat 155cm?

Same height!

How much in total did you spend on ur lessons anyways?

Considering that the last time i regularly rode a bicycle is like 5 years ago, must set aside more money than you. :X

The previous lesson when doing the clutch thing and had to go backwards to do again and again, the instructor impatient decided to "help" me back up faster by pushing my bike. End up i fall ._.

I have never even rode a bicycle regularly my whole life. I struggled during lesson 1 when I had to reverse as well haha. Part and parcel of learning. Even now with my own bike, I still struggle when I have to reverse on a ground which isn't flat.

Lol...

After the bend at the plank there before turning inside to the road leading to slope, sometimes there are cars stopping outside waiting to do their parking. Should I change lane and stop behind them or should I change lane after passing them?

Posted

this one we got 2 different answers from different instructor. if they are turning right before your right turn you are supposed to go pass them then filter right in front of them. the problem is, some of them are going straight and sometimes you can't see. if you can, change lane earlier and wait behind them. if not try to anticipate and slow down to see if you can get in in front of one. tricky one.

I have fell on almost every possible location and on every impossible spots.. But thankfully, nothing dramatic on e brake, yet to fall at e brake. *choy* Only had a scare when I had one tyre over the bumpy after I fishtailed, didn't close my throttle and it took me over the bumpy and I finally came to a stop. Lol.

Aiyo u all still havent skid and drop while going down AML spiral. Or going to fast and skidding on road LOL! Nonetheless, I learnt 'safer' riding through these experiences, using different braking techniques in different traffic/situations, when to corner, when to smoke the mercedes who is a fuucker blocking ur way while u lanesplit slowly thru the stationary traffic.

and @neowenbin , good that u read up this thread. I could say, we are one of the most informative threads for 2B learners, sexy falls and nonsensical talks aside. All the best for tp bro. And go pee early ah, u cfm the final 5.

Smooth wrists for the twists

Wah please please please, that's no wonder drivers treat riders like dirt. Very cool "smoking" a car? Trust me, patience is key.
