i bought mine from friend on mine who got it as gift. But i did come across Qoo10 got ppl selling the first gen at are $299 full set. 3rd gen if i not mistaken is are $499 for whole set like bike and helmet mount plus a wifi dock for you to connect to ur phone to transfer all the video.

You may try GoPro. I bought the GoPro from Peninsula Hotel Shopping Centre #01-06 for S$240 and bought the helmet bracket only S$40 on Funan

If you are looking for those installed onto bike type, you can checkout "667racing Trading" on Facebook. Image quality doesn't seem to be as good as a Go-Pro noting that it is not a Full HD. The only advantage is that it is running on the bike's battery. Motorworld seems to carry a Taiwan brand of Motorcycle DVR too.

Review. Good image quality night and day. Steady shot lessen vibration to image.

Able to have versatility in mounting. Mounts on both bike or helmet for me. Mounts similiar like Contour.

Not as awful like Gro pro mounts. Much better image quality than Contour.

 

But not for the 'budget' conscious buyer. Cost ovdr $300 without accessories.

 

In any event, if any biker wants a cam it had better be a good image capturing one otherwise when you need the video for the most important event for legal purposes, it better turn out to be dead clear for sure and serves it needs.

Stick it to helmet better as it follows your point of view. Unless you getting a front back cam set to mount on bike. If put on helmet, try out on top. Putting left or right would have some blind side.
