Brake - Problem Encountered

Drive slow... no brake fluid = no brakes....

Your bike shop should do the necessary check for you before you push out the bike...

Give your bike shop a call and let them attend to it.

I've seen many super4 having nice aftermarket brake disc. Anyone can share their experience?

Not advisable to be using any tom, ######, harry brand of brake disc. Get those from reputable brands like "Braking". If I'm not wrong, those you see mostly on Super 4s are manufactured by Braking.

sorry most of the disc in the market are not braking....

Unique motor do have aftermarket disc for super4. Do check it out with them

Also, when do we know that its time to change brake disc? Or is it purely cosmetic?

you can feel your rotors when they are NOT hot.. run your fingers on the braking surface, see if you can feel there's a depression on the surface anot. if the whole surface feels flush to you, the disc is still good. if you can feel that the disc has a depression(like a dish), it's time to change the rotors.

 

reputatable AM rotors makes your braking more power due to the stiffness of the rotors. better material as compared to OE rotors.

price quoted was for all 3 rotors...

I just changed my discs to the flower type at Unique yesterday. Happy with it.

These were wat I did...

1) changed brake discs all 3 (1 set)

2) changed brake pads.

3) brake fluid flush

4) OWS package

5) front wheel bearing

6) KNN air filter

 

Total damaged $600
